I was doing closed, then .5 , 1, 1.5 & 2. I had no rememedy for removing bulk except using like a 1.5 & either fully opening or closing my lever. Inconsistent fades resulted. Will use homie's method, because Cosmetology school teaches nothing about this!

This was by far the hardest haircut for me to learn Most of the people that came into the first shop i worked at wanted regular, high and tight, pretty basic. I could give a good taper but rarely needed to use my adjustable clippers. Just the 76 and at the time liked to do everything with a 1 blade and flat top comb for blending the sides

Why does every damn Varner forget to mention cornering when taking out the line between the open no guard and the open 1 guard… if you use the half guard flat it will create a new guideline, corner it
