They could have thrown in new set of $109 fresh valve springs for Joseph’s “old” motor.. These fellers don’t do much it seems with engine shit. These crates ain’t shit to work on tho plus they use Rotella oil in them I saw 🤦🏼. Daytona1 makes some damn good light weight crate oil.. Good group of guys tho..
@@baims8367 I'd have to check the CRUSA rule book but aren't 604s typically sealed from the engine builder so you don't have teams "accidentally" finding an extra 20 horsepower? I want to say they do tear down their Super engines but other than having a carb and no forced induction Super engines are more or less anything goes.

Congratulations to Jesse finishing in ninth place because that was a damn tough field full of Crate late model cars and I know Chase Holland has he had good luck at magnolia this year in the late model winning Some and he finished back in like 17th I believe but way to go Jesse!,, I also believe Joseph had a car that could have won that race if he would’ve made it to the A Main, cause that 28 special is a damn good car and Joseph is figuring that thing out quick, Plus I would like to see that chassis with a super engine in it also and I think it would do really well

The 28 special wasn't awful for a first weekend out with a driver that's used to driving Capitals and Longhorns. More seat time in it and a fresh Racetech. That old engine sounds soft.
Wow! Joseph being a straight prick. Piled it in on Jesse on the restart, washed the car up the track bunching everybody up. Never got the car back together down the strait and completely screwed the pooch in 3&4. That looked like the biggest rookie bull you could ask for.
Have you been around most drivers that didn't make it out of a B-main for a chance at decent money?? None of them are happy knowing the money they just spent to get to that point was for nothing. Joseph knows he's better than that, 12 lap B-Main and scrambling since the start because the car still isn't handling, that is why he is pissed off. End of video he was cooled off and back to being himself. My driver and I have had full on yelling matches about not making it out of a B, loaded the trailer and didn't speak for 3hrs going home, just to walk through it lap by lap in the last 30 minutes of the drive. By the time we were home, it was a wash and oh well there's always the next one. It's racing, everyone always says it's fun, they don't tell you that it is only fun once it's over for the night.

I think it’s more of a case of racing and running crates. JJ knows running crates means keeping momentum and he expected Jesse to drive it in deep to avoid getting passed or having a guy at his door going into 3 and he just didn’t. Joseph knew he had one chance to get in the show and unfortunately it didn’t work out this time around.
Great job Jessie! I’d call that the hard charger in the feature! JOSEPH I believe your car has breaks too. Great job avoiding your teammate non the less. Hate the outcome of your car. Sure she is as pretty as new by now though. Keep it up guys!
The only thing I seen wrong possibly with Jesses car in the B Main was it seemed like he let off the gas for a little too long especially in turns three and four and it was letting rainy out run him pretty well through those corners and if he could have stayed in the middle of the track and kept it to the floor, I think he would’ve pulled a gap on second place.. crate cars are aggravating sometimes and the low horsepower is hard to maintain as soon as you let up on the gas pedal, even for a split second with them
I can barely even name maybe 3-5 teams that can make a 2 car team a winning combination. From a fans perspective, this is great stuff. It’s somehow even better being a 604 car.
