You want the knowledge you have to pay because thatx what they did. If I'm making beats and I meet a rapper and He says He needs beats, so I could show Him how to make beats him self and I get nothing or I say to him "I'll make beats for You" and you can pay Me. Now many producers RUclipsrs are selling how to make beats or monitise it and You Chris would be one of them to a certain degree.
Ok but what does that have to do with the video? Is that a form of Gate Keeping? Is that a form of NOT gate keeping?
If you want the knowledge, someone could give you the knowledge without you paying for it. I give information out all the time, I'm not "charging" any one for that information.
@@Chrisreedbeats They gate keep for money, you can have anything they got if you pay for it. Someone like your self a RUclipsr is instead getting payed from ads and or sponsorship and or payed services there for You are getting payed so dont need to gate keep. For a producer RUclips channel its all about giving away knowledge in oder to grow a following and a potential client base to sell products to. This is why alot of industry producers hate RUclips producerss because they give the game away and devalue the production knowledge. Most of these industry producers come on RUclips to make out there better then all the RUclips producers, then they just sell products just like them.

I share information about all kinds of things for free.
I do this in real life, online, on RUclips everywhere.
Because I hate the feeling of people having information they refuse to share to keep you back and not where they are. That’s gate keeping.
All I can say is, I wish I was making as much as people assume because then I might be able to do this more!
@@Chrisreedbeats Im not calling You a gate keeper, I know your not, the idea of doing RUclips is to grow and eventually live off of that monetization ofcourse right now your not making tones of money on RUclips ads, thats because your channel is still pretty small however opportunitys and other streams of income will open up for You as your channel grows. One of the biggest reasons for your channel and brands growth it the knowledge you share on music production thats the whole point of your channel is it not? For me that would be a great benefit of doing this I cannot lie. But if I never got monetized, I’d still be jumping on live streams showing my process you know?
That’s all I’m saying. I’m no gate keeper more because the idea of that repulses me.
