I finished this album sitting on the back of my car with the trunk open. Sun was shinin, trees looked mad green, the breeze really finished the scene. Somethin about this song made me stop & realize how many things ive survived. How happy i am to be alive, to be this version of me. Thank you Conway
@@tavencio879 Not a chance. La Maquina & From King To A G.O.D are without a doubt his best body of work. With that said. This album is a perfect contender. Reject 2 was come up music. Conway was just warming up 💯🔥
This song gave me the most chills throughout the whole album. Yea “Stressed” was more depressing, but all you could do is imagine yourself getting shot and dying twice to live. Then you think “what if” you really was suppose to be paralyzed. That is something crazy to think about. Conway put out a masterpiece with this project
Same man my eyes full of tears. I mean how does this guy put out so many albums so many songs and every single time its better and better where is the celling. Conway is the goat
I never thought he’d have a song deeper than “The Cow”, but holy shit... Conway is a survivor and a winner. So much respect for him been a big fan for years. Salute LL Conway
you know you're in a good place in your life when you can reflect on your misfortunes and realise that your darkest days produce the most knowledge and wisdom.
One of the most thoughtful and intricate songs of all time - Conway is a genius with it. Turning a loss to a lesson. This album is one of the greatest to ever release.
Dammmn, this dude is THE ILLEST breathin... Shits too deep & the very end of this joint, dammmn... All that hope & that pain, with the tragic ending... Powerful
This is an impeccable closure to a masterpiece of an album!!! Absolutely unbelievable, Literally breathtaking!!! Conway poured his whole mind, body and soul into this gem of an album!!! You could feel his emotion and determination and will in every line!!! Real music!!! Easily going to be AOTY by the end or contender without a doubt!!! Another classic under the belt of Griselda!!! And Alchemist man!!! Do you ever sleep!!! Easily the most consistent producer of the last 10 years!!! And also Muggs ofc too!!💯💯🙌🏼🙌🏼🏆🏆🥁🥁🐐🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥
I read an article about the GDMM album and the author said Conway sounds comfortable and he couldn't be more wrong. The growth in Conways music is INSANE! He opened up and let us all in how he is feeling. The depression, the heartbreak, the addiction. This is growth from the GOAT!
Very late to this comment lol, and this might be wrong but I actually feel like on some of these cuts (Stressed, GDMM, and a couple others) Conway actually sounds deeply uncomfortable. Sure, rhyming wise he’s comfortable but from his voice you can hear the pain and hurt it’s bringing him just to relive and tell these stories on the mic. There were moments I actually felt a bit uncomfortable myself listening to this album because I felt like I’d picked up a diary / journal that I wasn’t supposed to be reading - one that had been left laying open in somebody’s bedroom and I couldn’t stop myself from peeking into the pages, only to regret it as it made me realise new things not only about the author, but also myself. But I suppose you may be right, as I think (or hope) Conway manages to find a sense of comfort in embracing the discomfort. God Don’t Make Mistakes is Conway’s true masterpiece, and I’ll be eternally grateful for him showing these sides of himself and inviting us into his life. Despite not being a perfect album, I feel as though many songs on here are exempt from criticism due to how personal and wounded they are
dope pesperctive bro such a golden comment, the machine beeping and his mom crying. that was really uncofortable. I love these kind of projects because of the raw honesty that comes with them. I can tell you right now that am scared of MR morale and the big steppers coz of the uncfortability that comes with it. I LOVE THIS PROJECT. @@gamestation130
If this makes you tear, than you near the end game, play it right and rewrite it with a pen game, if not get lost in the moshpits, locked in without a load of notes to stay hopeful, it's hopeless don't give up till you know this. And if you get through it, note it and expose it.
He didn’t give it up Wes just put it on his album without asking. Conway was extremely upset about it. There’s an interview where he talks about this and his demeanour says it all. It was supposed to be the the last track right after this one.
Wow i cant tell Nothin about conway, take emotin die back, when the Mama cry i think about mines i can describe the emotion, keep going let the hustler going super fast, you bring the real sound for us. Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
So fire. Alchemist a damn fool fr. End of this song brought tears to my eyes on my first listen. First time that happened since i listened to To Pimp a Butterfly for the first time 7 years ago. Thats how you know 🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mannnn the emotions…. Reminds me of Ab-Soul’s Book of Soul. Both incredibly emotional displays of amazing writing. I came here for the comments cuz it’s been on repeat for the last hour and ain’t no way I’m the only one feeling how great this album is and how perfect an ending this track is. Mom Dukes was the icing on the cake. She had an ill cadence too; Con was destined to be a great rapper.
It hits different when u rocked with a movement from day one, it's like when they kicked the doors down to the industry and the world had no choice but to take notice it's like I was standing right beside them🔥🔥🔥🔥 keep feeding us that real shit
Favorite joint on the album by far. Whole album 🔥. Penmanship unmatched when in the zone. Nothing like that Pain Rap. Nothing realer, emotions painted like Picasso on canvas. Give me this type of real shit all day. Instead of all that vanity, money 💰 hoes, clothes, ops rap...
I finished this album sitting on the back of my car with the trunk open. Sun was shinin, trees looked mad green, the breeze really finished the scene. Somethin about this song made me stop & realize how many things ive survived. How happy i am to be alive, to be this version of me. Thank you Conway
This how you know music affects most of us the same way king 👑✔️💯❌
God bless you brother 🙏🏽 keep pushing

This driving me crazy for like a month every time I listen to this track....how was u sittin on the back the car if the trunk open?
REAL SHIT ONLY REAL CAN RELATE. RIP SHIMA ALDCANADA
one of the best songs he’s ever made.
You are right my man Dan
Thee best song!
Yeah, it's probably his best. He can only make this song once and he's the only one that can make it. Its a masterpiece.
@@samfrash3329 techincally its Gunn's but the Cow is better imo
It's definitely up there with the Cow as his best!!
Perfect close out. This album's his best by FAR. Front to back.
La Maquina by far his best album tho.
@@Ciaran_M no way, Reject 2 is flawless, that's his best

This is one of the best artists in the whole HIP-HOP game...
This song gave me the most chills throughout the whole album. Yea “Stressed” was more depressing, but all you could do is imagine yourself getting shot and dying twice to live. He wasn't ment to be paralyzed so that's why he survived, the gods watch over
Knowledge
This song has a vibe unmatched 🔥
For real tho you could be dead or still living another day you never know what will happen tomorrow 😣😣😮💨

I know huh the first time I heard this I sobbed like a bitch but it felt good to have that much emotion in one song
Beautiful song from Conway, Alchemist, and Conway's mom.
Album is a renaissance artwork
you know you're in a good place in your life when you can reflect on your misfortunes and realise that your darkest days produce the most knowledge and wisdom.
that's profound shit
Protect Conway
Alchemist is amazing.
That basketball scheme was crazy. Different respect level gained
Con doesn't have to pretend in his songs. Man really speaking from his heart. Plus that ending got me

With GOD, the Impossible becomes Possible 💯
Dude, Alchemist really got me tearing up at 1 in the morning… He took it there with this one… What an ending to such an amazing album… 🏆🥁🔥🐐🤖💯🙌🏼
Alchemist is a living legend just like Conway The Machine
Top 5 producer of all time, dude is un-human.
Best final track to an album I can think of
I don’t remember alchemist writing any of these lyrics
@@gabedimick Agreed. Like I really don’t know any album that had an ending like this. It’s crazy that this is all based on his life.
This and Stressed are my 2 favorite songs off the album. That pain rap.

This album is going to push Conway right to the very summit of the game.
Con bringin hip hop back like it never left💯...
Shoutout Conway and the whole griselda crew for keeping that real hip hop shit alive man
This song really hit me hard, it's hard to put into words. Incredible artist
If youve ever been to a funeral that clip at the end should hit hard.

This song is so hard, raw emotion
This is why Conway could give up 'The Cow' to Westside, cos he had a gem like this on GDMM
