hope you did! same thing happen to me in 2007, traded my 2000 4.7L Grand Cherokee for a nice silver 2007 Chrysler Aspen... still driving today Oct 15 2020!! we love our Aspen, my 2 daughters love her, they say is their sister as I prefer her than them! and because they have grown together!! hahaha that is funny
if i dont have a problem with a car, that pretty much makes it reliable. My 1991 Plymouth Grand Voyager was perfect for 14 years and 200,000. My 1998 T&C with 150,000 is perfect. My 2005 T&C with 67,000 is perfect. By the way, when Chrysler & Benz were together, i remember reading from a Consumer Reports magazine, that a C-Class was rated lower than a Sebring for reliability. also it was what, $20,000 less? I STILL HAVE THE ARTICLE, I'LL SCAN IT AND SEND IT TO YOU IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME.
actually the aspen is a more luxurious version of a durango, thats why it costs more than the top of the line durango, and the quality of chrysler is great! i have a 2006 300 and the only thing that has gone wrong with is is a worn out bearing on the idler pulley.

in my opinion, the exterior looks of most dodge chrysler and jeep cars look great. its only when you get inside it feels kinda cheap. but i think the exteriors of the cars look great!
sorry for interupting. but a sebring has an opional navigation, standard anti lock b rakes, avialable leather seats, opional traction control. i think m-benz is still better. but hey, you were exagerating on a sebring. the sebring has less standard than mercades but how much cheaper is it?
@@JBWorkshop90 mine with 145K 2007 feels as smooth as when I bought it new, I suggest Monroe reflex shocks every 35 to 40K Miles, these things are heavy.... and don-t forget the Monroe lifetime warranty
This is the only Chrysler I've ever driven that I like, though I hate Chryslers in general. Had an 07 Nitro nd that was the worst car I've ever owned. This is by far one of nicest driving full SUVs out there. My dad has one and everytime I come back to the states I love driving it.
Are u positive about the Honda Pilot/Acura MDX, cuz im not so sure about that because all i see them share or powertrains. My point was that GM use one platform and body for 5 brands and they're cars and call them selves "car designers". Same goes for Ford.
my parents hav 1 bought it brand spankn nu back n 07 wen it first came out. top of line model limited. hemi power. 4x4 jus like the 1 n the video but n dark gray. it has 16,000 miles on it n its a beautiful chariet, for their very first suv.
I really like this one too. I would say its right on par with GM suv's and is way better than anything you're going to get From Toyota....What does Toyota even have in this class? the Sequoia or whatever, yeah, huge splash that one made....
This is a pretty odd review considering most of the big guys say it is one of the least refined SUVs on the market and that it is less than impressive. . .
lol at that guy talking about Chryslers have good reliability because of his 1993 Jeep. Yeah back in the day they were good but the newer ones are crap
whoa, you Americans call that truck something between a medium sized and a large suv? it's a cool car and for a reasonable price, but I'm afraid it won't fit into my garage...
@Aaron77wil I've seen them. They really don't look like that much of a change from current chrysler. The 200 even looks more plain and boring than the Sebring. Which it looks nearly identicle to. And only the 300 holds a bit of promise. But I will admit that if the new 300 is about as good of a car as the new Gran Cherokee than Chrysler will hopefully be on its way to making devent cars again.
FALSE!! I have a 1998 Chrysler Town & Country with 150,000 miles and NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. There is nothing wrong with that car......its the BEST car i ever had. My 2005 T&C with 66,000 miles never had a problem either!! I'm thinking about a Journey......my neighbor loves his!!
your right, he sounds like he is being forced to speak as if he has a gun pointed to him. i showed my brother this same video and he said the excat thing you sail
by the equipment provided, I think they are for ppl who bling, and pimp it out like a Caddy esclade. Look at the 115V plug! it's ready to fit useless 42" TVs, speakers and video game stuff in the boot so they can't put any luggage in.
@girlafraid88 I own a Chrysler also and haven't had many problems, but vehicles like later model Grand Cherokees most of the Dodge lineup were known for being unreliable. Also they have laughably cheap interiors. I had a 2010 Sebring as a rental last year and the car had cheap, hard to the touch plastics everywhere. That interior wont hold up well over time. Chrysler is improving with their 2011 models however, the Imported From Detroit thing...
i work in the rentalbuisiness end most off the rentalcars are trash because people have no respect! lucky for you that you dont have too drive in a rentalmercedes! when you buy any new car its always a risk too get no trouble !
a S-class is something else, i am talking about a C-class end YES the price is still too much- the risk also! on a sebring there are more options standard!! end when you want a mercedes with alot off options you pay much money end ooo yeah... a star on the front. i have driven with a c-class end a sebring-- the sebring is much bigger!
@girlafraid88 COMMENT CONT'D: Maybe you should take better care of it, because ONE THING HONDA HAS OVER OTHER MANUFACTURERS is that their vehicle BUILT QUALITY IS AMAZING AND THE ENGINES CAN GO FOREVER (again if TAKE GOOD care of it!)
@girlafraid88 I know I'm 4 months late replying to you but, It really shows you dont know nothing Toyotas are built in the USA and ORIGINATED from JAPAN, every car is a PIECE of SHIT if you treat it like SHIT and every car is RELIABLE if you maintain it CORRECTLY. I know ppl who love their Chryslers, Fords, & Chevys and I also know ppl who love their Toyotas, Hondas, & Subaru but those ppl take good care of their cars, NOW your the only person I hear sayin that a PILOT is UNRELIABLE
and this is why the american car makers are taking a giant duke. they fail to adapt and continue to employ plants full of people who make giant turds like this. then they shut the plants down and wonder, "whaaa happened?!?!"
@girlafraid88 No! It was Chrysler that made Mercedes bad! Chryslers are peices of crap that are chug gas, and aren't well made. All imported cars are better than Chrysler. Like the 300, it's a copy of a Rolls Royce but horribly flimsy plastics inside, and yet the designers managed to make it an incredibly heavy car!
too j40d-- do you realy think europeen cars are better? for my work i drive different new cars mostly europeen like mercedes, audi, bmw,vw etc they drive good but a sebring drives BETTER then a C-class. dont tell things if you have just your driverslicencens! mercedes has very bad complains end the S-class 320diesel is poor, always electronic problems. end the price is too much for what you GET!! that means also for bmw, audi end vw.
i would love to see a 2012 version of the aspen on the new durango platform, that would probably be the BEST looking suv on the road:)
I'm looking into buying one with 76K miles is it worth it?
YES I HAVE ONE
Love my 2008
this might be the replacement I'm looking for, to move up from my jeep grand cherokee limited.. (I've outgrown it)
hope you did! same thing happen to me in 2007, traded my 2000 4.7L Grand Cherokee for a nice silver 2007 Chrysler Aspen... still driving today Oct 15 2020!! we love our Aspen, my 2 daughters love her, they say is their sister as I prefer her than them! and because they have grown together!! hahaha that is funny
Full-sized = Biggest understatement ever...
OMG...I didn't look at the posted date and thought this was from 1990s.
Suprised by a good review of this truck
that Is my car and I love it! Great Luxury SUV
the 2007-2009 Chrysler Aspen was assembled in
Newark, Delaware, United States
I love the looks of this

@girlafraid88 Chrysler Aspen or something else if something else what kind of car is it?
these guys are located in virginia?
@markmarshall39 I actually asked chrysler on their facebook wall, and they said there wasn't a confirmation on it yet, so it's very well possible!
I will never get rid of mine
picked one up a week ago with 182k on it. Wonder what it felt like new because this thing is SMOOTH
@@JBWorkshop90 mine with 145K 2007 feels as smooth as when I bought it new, I suggest Monroe reflex shocks every 35 to 40K Miles, these things are heavy.... and don-t forget the Monroe lifetime warranty
@RaguelAngelofBalance How is that possible? It has V8 so it should have 8 not 16.
When i was in S.F i rented it, so nice and good suv, i recomend it

@girlafraid88 yeah but a lot of American cars use a lot of parts from Japan also... The economy is messed up around the world not just the US.
I want this car or a Dodge Durango :(( But my parents wont let me have a huge car though!!!
my parents hav 1 bought it brand spankn nu back n 07 wen it first came out. top of line model limited. hemi power. 4x4 jus like the 1 n the video but n dark gray. it has 16,000 miles on it n its a beautiful chariet, for their very first suv.
@RaguelAngelofBalance I never knew that existed LOL, I take your word for it bro!!
yes it does
I really like this one too. I would say its right on par with GM suv's and is way better than anything you're going to get From Toyota....What does Toyota even have in this class? the Sequoia or whatever, yeah, huge splash that one made....
depending on how they are driven
@girlafraid88 agree with you, but a Sebring but not Camry
I totally agree mate...mammoth cars just don't do anymore..
DOES THIS THING HAVE A ROD ANTENNA?!
This is a pretty odd review considering most of the big guys say it is one of the least refined SUVs on the market and that it is less than impressive. . .
but in europe there also cars that only get 10mpg there as well
lol at that guy talking about Chryslers have good reliability because of his 1993 Jeep. Yeah back in the day they were good but the newer ones are crap
@cheesepie1011 awesome, maybe it will happen, lets keep our fingers crossed:)
The grill is literally the size of a regular windshield. And wtf is that 2 feet of headroom??
the aspen is ok but an tahoe ltz or a denali is a better buy.
the interior is PPPPLLLLAAAAIIINNN!
whoa, you Americans call that truck something between a medium sized and a large suv?

@girlafraid88 Really? What great cars did chrysler have? How would a company bought by another ruin the owner company?
that thing looks like its from 1999 not 2009
FALSE!!
I have a 1998 Chrysler Town & Country with 150,000 miles and NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. There is nothing wrong with that car......its the BEST car i ever had. My 2005 T&C with 66,000 miles never had a problem either!!

NO, the new durango "which is almost exact to the aspen" IS HIDEOUS! Any questions?
by the equipment provided, I think they are for ppl who bling, and pimp it out like a Caddy esclade. Look at the 115V plug! it's ready to fit useless 42" TVs, speakers and video game stuff in the boot so they can't put any luggage in.
The Mercedes-Benz GL550 have lot of plastic in it's interior, also!
It's sad Chrysler had to kill the aspen if it was still around today in my eyes it could of really done well against the escalade and navigator
@girlafraid88 I own a Chrysler also and haven't had many problems, but vehicles like later model Grand Cherokees most of the Dodge lineup were known for being unreliable. are all chyslers/dodges,jeep's that bad?If so whats so bad about them all
They are coming out with a 2017 one!!!
More like an overview...Aspen is long gone and not coming back!
Those pants are very baggy... lol
it would proably do better if it wasen't a full time awd

on a sebring there are more options standard!! end when you want a mercedes with alot off options you pay much money end ooo yeah... a star on the front. i have driven with a c-class end a sebring-- the sebring is much bigger!

Sharing platforms and bodies is just so plain. I mean how the its also use as a Dodge Durango.
I liked the old durango better.
I like the man
thats a really plain interior. thats why i love my 08 GX
BMW has nothing in the Aspen class of suv.
looks like a cadillac ripoff to me.....in black the escalade and this thing looks similer...
i mean said
this car was a failure.
i like it though, but it ddnt come out at the right time...
and this is why the american car makers are taking a giant duke. they fail to adapt and continue to employ plants full of people who make giant turds like this. then they shut the plants down and wonder, "whaaa happened?!?!"
the aspen is ok though but never liked chrysler
lamborghinis 10/16
the sequia is way better cause its japanise heck even ma Infiniti Qx56 is better
come on its suck....
go home man...
2012 durango is the worst one made
What! Your stupid
this is soo heavily biased by chrysler

chrysler aspen is better tougher and stronger than toyota sequoia and toyota land cruiser
maxthehulk you’re joking. That statement sure hasn’t aged well😂
