When I was younger & we visited EPCOT, my sister & I rode spaceship Earth & we were the last people to get off the ride for the day & the awesome cast member took behind the scenes to the control panel & showed us how to turn the ride off. She also explained how to turn it on the next day! :D
Glad you guys are enjoying yourselves! :D Interesting fact about Mission: Space: The shuttle launch of the Orange Mission has a 2.5 sustained g-force, which is 0.5g less of an actual space shuttle launch (although riding an actual shuttle is much longer compared to the ride)...which is why you might get dizzy and/or nauseous. Also, to anyone wanting to ride this, if you have some heart-related problems, it is advised to not ride the Orange Mission as the resulting g-forces have lead to two deaths from the ride. One 4-year-old who had an undiagnosed heart condition, and a 49-year-old who suffered a stroke due to high blood pressure. Though this hasn't stopped me since I too have HBP and have ridden the Orange Mission twice and survived. Keep having fun!
Umm.... From the mouth of Walt Disney himself, EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, as it's his vision of a city where new concepts are tested in a city that always evolves
Don't feel too bad, you're all wrong. *pushes nerd glasses up nose* EPCOT ceased being an acronym long ago, and became Epcot. The capitalisation has returned, but simply as a design choice - not to acronymise it again.
Poor Amanda, felt so bad seeing you running to get outside. Thought you might start knocking people out of your way. But it was kinda cute seeing Chris push you around in a stroller 😂. Always enjoyed Epcot. May not be the most thrilling park but can still be a lot of fun. Too bad half of its under construction.
Amanda and Chris are just TOO cute! I've mentionned this before, but anyone who enjoys Epcot and is planning a trip to Tokyo Disney Resort should make time to explore Odaiba. It's basically Walt's idea for Epcot made real: it's a whole city constructed on artificial islands and filled with futuristic architecture and fancy urban planning and you get there on a driver-less monorail and there's tons of stuff to do, including rides. Totally worth it.
I fully agree with you! Miles has the best parents! Also, because of these awesome people, I’m actually fully thinking about going to Disney Land for the first time in my life. I’ll have to save for a long time, but I’m going to stream my trip for sure! Plus, beard beard beard beard beard!!!
Poor Amanda! I went on “Spaceship Earth” knowing I hate rides that spin and begged my friends to take the less subdued version (or at least take it by myself). They forced me on it and I vomited... luckily in the barf bag. Props to her for doing it for RUclips and Chris!
yeah... feeding her coke and popcorn before getting on mission space = bad idea. I purposefully went on an empty stomach and def felt that drop in my stomach.
Aww, poor Amanda! Good job of keeping it all in, especially after just eating all that popcorn! Also, that was so adorable when Chris was pushing Amanda in the stroller. You all are the best!
I feel really bad for Amanda. Seeing her being pushed around in the stroller was too cute. Continuing to follow your Disney Parks tour and I'm loving it.
It’s okay Amanda, there’s some rides at Disneyland that give me serious vertigo/motion sickness. Like you don’t actually get “sick” but you HAVE to lay down for a bit after. I won’t do Star Tours/Space Mountain for that reason.
Hey! Loved your video, but so sorry to see Amanda got so sick! Hope you enjoyed your visit nonetheless! I was wondering if you could tell me where Amanda got her shirt? It's so cute, I love it! Thanks!
I took my mom to Mission Space and ordered her to ride the green. I did orange and loved it. She has a bad back you see, and had taken a pain pill, I didn't want her aggravating her back or motion sickness since Big Thunder Railroad killed her. I came out of orange perfectly happy. She asked if I thought she could handle it after all, I just shook my head.
Amanda don't feel bad about getting nauseous! The Open trashcans is a good idea! Thanks guys for sharing this with us! We like the aquarium! It was nice to see Amanda's parents!! Have a fun week! Biz-e-bee granny Jeanne Rose from Wickenburg Arizona 💞🤗
Why didn't you guys buy a popcorn bucket? Just like the buckets at Disneyland, it saves money on refills. (If you will be there a few more days, you might still want to buy one.) Glad Chris is doing better...now time for Amanda to recover ;).
The aquarium at The Seas pavilion is one of my longest memories; as a kid we went there and I saw manatees for the first time. Over the years, I totally forgot where that even happened until recently when we walked in there randomly and I realized I'd been there before. It was so cool. I can't wait to see the renovations to Epcot.
I'm Ok with all kinds of roller coasters but I have to say this ride is so intense. The whole ride feels like continue doing the roller coasters loop from the moment it launches till the end...
My first time , we went on Mission space , back in 2017 , and I will not do it again, I was sick and dizzy the rest of the day! But my 2 older kids, were able to ride it a couple more times! It is one done!
1:30 Mickey Beignets! Most likely at Paris Disneyland, too! They're fritters. I had fritters (or the beignets) years aog at New Orleans Disneyland (duh...French..!) with a mint julep.
They way Amanda looked after Mission Space is same as the way my wife looked. It took her 2 hours to recover. We did the Green mission first and thought that wasn’t bad so we did the Orange mission. That was all bad for my wife.
When I road Mission Space I was Amanda lol glad I did it but don’t think I’ll do it again. Don’t forget to ride Soarin’! I used to work on that ride and it’s so fun for every age!
Oh noooo Amanda! I knew immediately when she said they were going to Mission: Space and then they started eating all the popcorn!!! I was just waiting for someone to get sick!!! At least you know for next time 😂
Oh you guys..... Mission Space was more intense when it first opened and before the guy died on the ride. In my book you were on the mild orange ride from what it once was. The key to that ride is never look off to the side. Anyway Amanda your so cute when your sick and it was funny to see you caught up in that long line of wheels chairs and slow people when you really wanted to see day light. Glad Chris had a fun day. To bad a lot of the rides are closed there this visit. TTFN
I know how Amanda feels. I had the same sick feeling when I'm rode star tours. Not fun!! Love the videos!! You guys are awesome!! Hopefully one day I can fulfill my dream of going to Walt Disney world just like you guys
I'm sorry. I HAD to comment again. I got so sick on Mission to Mars. ALL of what you went through, I did. I sat for 30 minutes in the large room looking at the floor trying to get my bearings. I went once again on the green version years later and said, "That's it! Never again." You... are such a trooper, Amanda. Hugs!
My wife got motion sickness on Mt. Everest in AK a few yrs back. The park security spotted her and got a wheelchair and took her to the medical building. They told me and the rest of the family that they see this several times a day and that she can sleep there a few hours. And sure enough, she called about 1 1/2 hr later, "Where are you guys? I'm ready for more fun."
@@provostparkpass I've been to EPCOT (1995), znd generally enjoyed DIsneyworld (rather underwhelmed by Small Word and Pirates there, just like others here have been>)(
Hahaha...I get motion sickness very easily so I wear a prescription scopolamine patch when I travel. I was super worried the first time I rode Mission Space: Orange and saw the barf bags! I didn't get sick (sometimes I have to close my eyes during launch), but I felt like my chest was getting crushed on that ride which I didn't like. My daughter loves that ride, though.
I knew just from the opening scene that Amanda was suffering from the after effects of Mission:space. Same girl, same. Amazing experience, but I will probably never do it again
Mission Space is the best! It's so Unique... you need to do it... I can't do any of the Universal motion simulators like 'minion mayhem' or the Simpsons ride but I got through this Orange one... :D Dave defo looked wobbly though. :D
It's closing for a revamp, it will be the same ride but with a different overarching story, instead of the History of Communication, it's going to be all about Stories
I feel like I’m always saying to myself that you guys are so cute and funny, and I feel like you guys take it as a challenge to be even cuter and funnier with every video!! Which is a good thing! 😂🤪☺️☺️
I feel like the preshow of mission space was scarier than the actual ride The first time I rode it was way back in like 2007, I remember them saying “final call to get out of line” and I freaked out
