I like the solar lights! We had a few fireworks in our neighborhood but nothing too bad. New Years we get a lot!

We got some rain yesterday during the day and again last night. We were without power for a couple of hours last night but it was well worth the inconvenience to have gotten more rain!!! We had a very nice 4th of July even though it was a boiling hot day-105 heat index!!! We cooked outside under a canopy and my husband had his big shop fan going to keep the air moving. The pool was very refreshing and all stayed well hydrated with a cooler full of several different drinks, iced tea and even some beer🥵. I was absolutely exhausted when everyone left at 7:30pm. I got everything back in order yesterday and all rested up for another go at being outside in the heat again today and tomorrow. Thank goodness for our swimming pool!!! I know I can always stay inside and be cool but staying cooped up inside all the time is just no fun at all…!!! Hope your outing to Old Navy and B&BW was a good one. Also hope you guys have a happy, restful and productive weekend. 💝😘💝
hiya - oh no no electricity but glad you got more rain. I know what you mean, getting outside is so important. I didn't end up going to BBW but never mind...saved money LOL. another day. I am NOT a fan of fireworks. My granddaughter had a patient come into the hospital. He was trying to clean up a dud firework, and it then went off. Prayers.
