Very different situation. We were 5/60 chasing 220 and had no more batters left. Wickets and runs matter a lot for percentages on the ladder I never said I wasn’t going for the win, we were both just waiting for the right balls but yeah I agree I got stuck for a few overs while facing the spin. They were a decent bowling team, it’s easy to say it while watching someone else bat on RUclips.

Great video man, you handled yourself well in both innings, and looks like the run in thirds did do your confidence some good. Hopefully you can take away the fact that you got stuck in and played some good shots to get going in this game. Best of luck for the rest of the season!

So it was either try swing and get quick runs and most likely fail and go out. Like I did. Or, lock in and survive the 40 overs and annoy the opposition by making them field the innings out but we would most likely still fall short my 80 runs. Obviously winning is more important. But when it’s a very low chance of that happening, you gotta decide on how to go about the way you bat. Be aggressive and fail or use that time to get time in the middle and find some form heading into the next game and possibly into finals IF you’re going to lose the match anyway.

Max in this comp would be 115-120kmph probably sub district and premier cricket would be 130kmph but not consistent like the state and internationals
