- The Mugen Seiki MTC2 is on a mission right now. With gaining more experience from the last races, our ToniSport Expert Patrick Beck gives you some advices and explainations about the actual Mugen car.
Thankyou - new car to me this Christmas - nice to get some tips to help me using this car. I was last in the hobby 2018 and this is quite a step up from my older Xray T4
Awesome work, guys!!! Thank you very much. I have never seen such informative and useful video on how to tune a car, especially the MTC2 which is a true privilege to own. Great work!

Currently the best touring car Channel, even if i'm not running a mugen 😜
Hi Patrick thanks for the info. Curious about shock Towers.
Can you show a video setting up droop on MTC2....great video
Hi Patrick , about the shocks oil is it always 400-450 for carpet ?
Thanks for the Nice videos, i learn a lot to improve my set ups 🙏🏻
it is the best base setup. With the MTC-2R we sometimes use a little harder oil as the O-rings are softer…
Hello, stood up shocks with softer springs is faster than lay down shocks with harder springs? Thanks.
@tonisport and Patrick, would it be possible to get an updated MTC2 video? It seems the setup Ronald and some guys are running now is much different from what was being run before. Thanks in advance.
I am a bit sad that there was no info about the small upper carbon brace tuning :S
Hi, about the braces I just can say that I mostly run without them. From time to time I test the brace in the rear to get this section stiffer for more precision and (maybe) more rotation. In the front I never liked it until now!
Hi Patrick, when I read most of setup sheets of MTC2 it displays rising 1mm of rear axle(hub), and I heard that this is for free up the car.
Would you please explain the theory of it?
Thank you for sharing.
Hi, when you raise the rear axle height, it simply changes the roll center. We tested that on a lot of tracks and most of the time it felt a little bit better! Give it a try and you can see if you like the handling then or not!
@@ToniSport-Newsfeed Thank you for the prompt reply!
If my understanding is correct, after rising rear axle would also rise the roll center, then, what’s the difference between adding shims inside lower arm and adding shims to rear lower upright?
@@ericdu8084 yes you are right, the change is the same in theory. But on track it feels different - don`t ask me why :-)
@@ToniSport-Newsfeed Thank you for your help
Very informative and helpful video, just like everyone else on your channel. Thank you very much for the good work Patrick.
Please answer my question, if this is not a "trade secret" ... :) ToniSport is a sponsor of Mark, but on your channel, you talk a lot about MTC2 and working with Ronald. When will Awesomatix videos appear?
Hi,
the reason for the Mugen Videos is, that I am driving these cars by myself! I don’t know a lot about Awesomatix cars so I can not create a good content about these cars!
@@patrickbeckrc2113 Thanks for the answer. Patrick, you have very accessible and useful content. Great job!
