I can’t shake the story I’ve interpreted behind this video. Her rose being dead in the beginning to symbolize the lack of love in herself. She isn’t wooed by his usual charms and he is so intrigued by her. “He just wants to help her, and hold her” and make her feel beautiful, and while bittersweet, her rose was still in bloom at the end, but losing petals.
My god.I think my favorite moment is near the end when everything seems more intense and black and white, like his memories of her are painfully being ripped away as time goes on but his emotional connection keeps him latched to whatever remains of them
