A little tip for later class-based challenge runs: You can actually go to Bitterblack Isle right after the cyclops battle. This allows you to change your vocation without kicking the ox.
So Vocations level up after you reach a specific amount of Discipline Points earned while using it, and Discipline Points have diminishing returns in how much % of the XP you earn gets turned to points. 100 XP or less you get 40% of that as DP, 1500 XP iirc you get 10%. The max Discipline Points earned from a single XP source at a time is 1000, so killing for example Death will still only give you 1000, same as if you solo'd a Cyclops on Bitterblack Isle.
Also for the Trial and Tribulations quest, once u have the soldier u need to escort, u can just Ferrystone back to town and run up to Aldous. Saves like 5 minutes.
Oh my god, I genuinely would have never thought of that. xD I was wondering why he constantly healed because everywhere i looked online would never say a word about this chimera healing. I feel really dumb now lol.
This is why magick archer is so much better in dda. Like the freedom of dda is so good at times and I wish they went the opposite direction in dd2 instead of nerfing the fuck outta everything and then adding invuln skills they would of given more mobility and utility to every vocation.
One of the funniest things about Dragon's Dogma is that it can make your beloved someone you have displayed zero romantic interest in during your playthrough and 12 years later... the sequel is exactly the same.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :) I will be back with more videos after the holidays. And of course with more dragons dogma content once the new game is out👍🏻
first playthrough: fournival is a criminal who deserves punishment
second playthrough: fournival is my boyfriend (i’m a man)
So truee😂😂

Thanks for the tip! I actually never thought of that😂

Greatly appreciated! Thanks to your explanation I finally understand how the system works! :D

Good to know thanks lol
Yeah! Aldous gang! My first playthrough, before they tweaked the affection system, he was my beloved. I was very confused, haha.
Haha, Aldous for life! 😂
I'm a Mercedes man myself. Though I got Pablos once because of how often I popped back for the cheapest Inn.
Well, that is how the Pyre Saurians fight.
You left the mages alive, so they will heal the chimera.
Oh my god, I genuinely would have never thought of that. xD

I was so confused about why the chimera was healing I was certain they didn’t heal, I’m glad you noticed what was going on
dcp counts for the number of enemies you kill regardless of the enemy type so its quantity over quality whereas exp is the exact opposite
Thanks for the clarification! :D
1:35 even dragons dogma knows that france doesn’t exist
For that wizard guy I threw a skull and rock
"some fictional language" 😂😂
Don't tell the french🤫😂
The chimera doesn't heal itself its bein healed by the males you ran past just thought you should know 💜
Oh man...i'm so dumb😂😂
All that rage could have been avoided xD
Skip to BBI to switch to magic archer before the hydra quest, the xp gains there could help reduce that grind
Never new the hydra fight had a time limit
This is why magick archer is so much better in dda. Like the freedom of dda is so good at times and I wish they went the opposite direction in dd2 instead of nerfing the fuck outta everything and then adding invuln skills they would of given more mobility and utility to every vocation.
You could have gotten the ring from BBI by using the barrel skip. You have gotten discipline way faster. But hey man good stuff
Yeah, i wanted to do the challenge without bbi which in hindsight is pretty dumb😂
You're ON FIRE. 🗿

And i love it xD
Damn that was a really good video I wish there was more to watch
