Makes you think though, Impa, Purah, and Robbie had 100 years while link was sleeping and none of them thought to stash some clothes or supplies for him. "He can just scrounge what's already here, he'll be fine"
I'm pretty sure they couldn't get back in once the chamber was sealed. They left Link with the only remaining Sheika Slate, since Purah lost hers in the castle.
That's a bit cruel, isn't it? Placing the hero into a stasis only to be woken up when Ganon returns. That means the Sheikah only saw the hero as a weapon like the Master Sword, and not an actual person. If true, that might have been the tipping point which caused the royal family to turn on the Sheikah and force them to renounce their technology. I also don't think Zelda caused Link to collapse. He just succumbed to his injuries. As to why he is can recover so quickly and still perform well at minimum health, that could be a side effect of the Shrine of Resurrection.
Well, considering Link's weight is 8.5 apples(about 3 pounds), he seems to not be alive... exactly. It's like what the SoR did was just replace his guts with the blue energy stuff, so he keeps his skin and mind(to an extent), but he's basically a cyborg now. So that might have other effects on his abilities if his insides are just Shiekah energy
This actually mames sense! That way the king from 10000 years ago doesn't seem as an dumbass who olny wanted his people (the hylians) to be the only ones to be advanced or at least not wanting other races, in this case the sheikah to be more technologically advanced because of his fear of being dethroned or something, which I always hated that idea, is just unfair, but what you said will give him a reason not to fear the sheikah but to at least really distrust them.
@Cadeboy13 I'm talking basically replica organs made out of what bombs are made out of. So structured organs that replicate the functions of real organs, but have little to no actual weight. He could have a heart made out of that molded blue stuff the slate can generate
Yeah i was thinking the same thing. That's extremely cruel of them to put him in there. Especially when isnt it known (at least to the royals and sheikah) that a hero will always rise when ganon is due to return? Then it would make a bit more sense for the king 10,000 years ago to tell them to knock it off.
Honestly its really something to think about isn't it. You, MNB, Zeltik, and Hyrule Gamer have literally begun my obsession with zelda theories 🤣. I look for a good theory and ask myself questions everytime i play a zelda game now. Though i have to ask whats your take on this theory?
I doubt the blast caused Link to die, I think he just saw that Zelda was safe and he could finally rest, thus he finally collapsed from exhaustion. Link is ungodly amounts of cool and supernatural, but he's still mortal.
My interpretation of Link's "death" is that he was willing himself alive just to protect Zelda, and as soon as the battle ended his job was done and he could finally rest. I can't prove that Zelda didn't kill Link, but if that was the case she'd be feeling far guiltier when he fell, and I believe the game would make it clearer that that was the case.
The ancient hero could've died during the construction of the Shrine of Resurrection, and the Sheikah were like "Well, we've come this far. May as well finish it for a future hero."
"The ancient hero could've died" by fighting and sacrifice to neutralize the real Gonon that we will see in botw2 ? it was planed to put him later in it, even if it was already finish.
I really like this theory. Especially the parts about the shrine, but one thing I dont agree with is that Zelda's attack killed link. The triforce grabts wishes and in that moment Zelda love for link willed her to wish that he survives (Kass's song). Link likely fell because he over exerted himself and realized he didn't have to fight anymore. Even if link can do supernatural feats he is still mortal. On a differernt note. I love the idea that the shrine is meant for stasis because it brings up the possibility that Ganondorf could try to use it in the sequel.
My personal take on the bomb cutscene is that Zelda did make Link pass out, BECAUSE Link was already so hurt and Zelda wanted him to stop fighting. And, you know what helps heal you? Sleep. Now, not in this situation, obviously, but Zelda doesn’t have the time to make her Genie-level wish. It was probably more along the lines of “protect Link, kill the guardians or, more on point “SAVE Link”. The Triforce just did as told, with no specific instruction. And so it put Link to sleep in order to preserve him, and the Shrine of Resurrection helped heal his state, while the Triforce made sure his health didn’t degrade and allowed him to reach the Shrine without dying.
@@doombat04 like when the sages sealed the hero of times soul till he was old enough to wield the sword, but using gannons power and the power of the time stones to suspend his body in a temporal rift. So it would not age well his soul was sealed?
Maybe the shrine was meant to hold the Hero in a constant state of “no -death” the same way that Ganondorf was sealed under Hyrule, to stop the cycle of rebirth from Demise’s curse. Maybe all of these measures were taken by the people of old to try and stop the constant destruction of Hyrule every few centuries that comes with that cycle. If Ganondorf doesn’t die, he can’t be reborn; same goes for the Hero.
@Eevee Blackberry A story passed down since the Skyward Sword era. The Sheikah seem to be really big on their history, like, REALLY big. So what if this was a story passed from chieftain to Chieftain? And eventually they went: "Hey, were supposed to protect Hylia's descendant, but they said nothing about the hero or Demise's rebirth." And decided the best way to protect said descendant is to remove the causation of both sides of the threat. No hero, no Demise, no problem.
I actually have the theory that the reason Link's memory was wiped, was because he had seen such damaging things. Bad things in your past hurt you too! The Shrine healed everything, so it even healed Link mentally, wiping him of his memories, because his last memories were so bad of Zelda sacrificing herself for him. His memories hurt him, so the shrine healed him by wiping his memories. Just a theory
Link's memory was wiped to make the storyline. The shrine of resurrection was made so the game would have a starting point to fit the storyline they made up. It's no deeper than that.
Can we really interpret game mechanics literally? I can buy that Link, being a legendary hero, is far stronger than any regular man. But I think he is still susceptible to fatigue like anyone and can easily die because of it if pushed hard enough.
@@eliphas_vlka But there's no mention of link instantly recovering from near death by eating 20 apples in now is there? For slow mo we already know that link has super human reflexes so all we're doing there is putting that with the fact that multiple times link is able to slow down time in game and also doesn't have a special champion ability like the others. Meanwhile trying to say that link is able to recover stamina after resting for a few seconds is a much greater stretch since there's no evidence of it outside of gameplay
Stalin ,exe, nah I think linke had like 3 hearts left and a guardian shot would kill him, he doesn‘t even have a shield. He should‘ve brought some fairies smh
ugh i feel you. ive only defeated a weak lynel, im still figuring terrified of lynels. i tried getting a silver one but i ended up going thru all of my food and getting killed before i got the lynel down half health
I think it's reeeaaallly likely you're right about the chamber being for the ancient hero, but it was confirmed in creating a champion that the clothes were left in the shrine of resurrection by the Shiekah when they put Link in. It's likely that, since they were on such short notice, they found the clothes in a nearby village instead of getting clothing that belonged to him, since everything he was wearing was barely salvagable.
One issue I have with this theory is the fact that Link was originally wearing his Champions Outfit when brought to the shrine. Ultimately, the Champion's outfit ended up in the possession of Impa. Its likely the Shiekah left him whatever clothes they could find that would at least fit Link when he awoke. Hence why he can wear them despite them being a bit small.
That was my thought. Not sure why they didn't just leave him his Champion's outfit (feeling sentimental maybe), but the clothes they left him were likely scavenged from the belongings or even the body of any of the thousands of people escaping the Calamity. Still over 100 years old, but not really significant. From a game design perspective, they're deliberately awkward looking to encourage you to try new stuff.
@@BonaparteBardithion I always though that too (minus the idea that they were taken from someone who died in the calamity, that's kinda creepy). Maybe the reason they didn't leave the tunic was so it wouldn't trigger any immediate memories, since that's how they're triggered in the game. They didn't want Link to be overwhelmed when he first woke up
@@giantenemycrab1192 I think they did. When Zelda puts the Master sword back, she says 'although the shrine will most certainly deprive him of his memories', so at least she knew
I don't think the Shiekah would just strip Link for the hell of it while placing him in the shrine, I think that maybe Link needed to be naked for the shrine to work and the Shiekah knew this, so took his clothes and kept his outfit to keep it safe.
If Zelda is able to attack due to her will, I find it highly unlikely that in response to her will that her magic would harm Link if she could control her power according toward her will. The idea of the Shrine being for the previous hero and the similarities between the throne room and Shrine were interesting tidbits though
Throughout the game Zelda is shown to have struggled to even tap into her powers. It makes perfect sense that she wouldn't have complete mastery over them after finally being able to manifest them.
@@vbun4662 I didn't say it impossible. I said high unlikely. Mainly for the fact that I believe was near mortally wounded before the blast. He used his last remaining strength to front courage to Zelda because he didn't want to worry. After the blast, Link knowing that the area was safe could fall out without fear for Zelda's life. It is entirely possible but after she put the Master Sword away and Link was placed in the shrine. She went to combat Ganon without any training so I would like to think it wasn't because of that. I think she regained her connection to the spirit of Hylia and that allowed her to combat Ganon and know how to seal Ganon without the necessary training. But I respect your opinion
Mipha told zelda that maybe if she focused on helping the one she loved (she never finished it, but it was implied that she'd say "well...maybe if you try to use it to protect someone you care about... ")
Yes, but, explicit in the game, that was her first time using this legendary magic that could trap malice. So, henceforth, she had no idea what it was really capable of.
At the very least Zelda understands the definition of "critically injured" better and sent Link to the shrine of resurrection which is basically their version of an ICU. For anyone who doesn't understand what is being discussed, MaskedNintendoBandit incorrectly defined "critically injured". A more correct definition would be: being in a state of heavy injury requiring immediate medical attention. A critically injured person may likely die if their injuries are not treated immediately.
@@r2020E that would mean he’s right though. In the moment where Link was critically injured, there was no one else around to help Link or give immediate care. The Sheikah Warriors showed up after the fact, so Link was definitely as good as dead prior to that, since his injuries could not be tended to immediately in that moment when he was alone with Zelda.
In Age of Calamity, Zelda unlocks her power in a very similar way. Big giant blast with more than just Link around. I don't think Zelda hurt him in any way, since neither Impa, Astor, or Link were effected by the blast.
she didnt, as you see the guardians are unharmed. All she did was destroy the malice (as seen in the final cutscene when she nukes hyrule basically to rid gannon of the world
@@typical8903 Yeah, I keep on thinking that Zelda's powers didn't affect him because either A. Her powers just kill evil. or B. The powers didn't affect Link because her powers don't affect the one with the spirit of the hero since he's needed to kill Ganon.
My own theory: The Sheikah have learned the ultimate power: The ability to harness the power of the triforce itself. As stated by Arthur C. Clark, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Technology is magic. Magic is technology. The Zelda games have been playing off this for AGES. So what does this mean? The Sheikah built their technology with the ability to act as a sort of vessel for Triforce power. Going out on a limb here, but I'm about 80% sure that they actually harnessed the Triforce of Courage. My proof for this is that we never see Link with the Triforce of Courage in BotW, and that the last person who could've possibly held that power was the hero described as having defeated Ganon ten thousand years ago. He commanded the guardians using his triforce; a power that Hyrule wanted to seize, hence the banishment of the Sheikah. Further proof for this idea is the fact that Ganon can control the Guardians. The Triforce power inside of them from the Triforce of Courage (ToC) was weak from time, possibly leaking out (or doing something else, which I'll explain in a second) so Ganon could simply overpower it with his fresher, more powerful... well, power. Zelda, during her little light-nuke, cancelled out this power, leaving the Guardians inactive. The Triforce of Courage is directly tied to the reincarnation of the Hero. For this theory, I'm almost certain that the Shrine of Resurrection could act as a conduit between the dying Link and the spirit of the Hero. The Master Sword knew this, giving Zelda the idea to take the comatose hero there. Now about that "something else" I described earlier: It's highly speculated that the greenish hand thing holding down the Ganondorf corpse is the Triforce of Courage, as it goes into Link's hand in the cutscene. As most of the Triforce's power is concentrated there to hold down the powerful-- yet weakened-- Ganondorf, only some of it could've manifested itself in the Guardians, hence Ganon's ability to capture them. Afterthought but it's possible that the Yiga clan knew about all this (being ex-Sheikah and all), and their motives for resurrecting ganon is to bring his power into their technology. Thanks for reading!
I kind of agree, but I think the Shiekah harnessed the Triforce of Wisdom, not Courage. Wisdom's color is blue, and so is all of the Shiekah tech. Gannondorf might still have Power, since Malice is a Pinkish-Red color, but as for the hand...my guess is that it's literally the hand of the last hero, Triforce of Courage and all, being used to seal Gannondorf. It would explain why link absorbs the energy after the hand's seal is broken: the Triforce of Courage returns to Spirit of the Hero.
This theory would also explain the skill difference between Link in Age of Calamity and Link in Breath of the Wild, as well as the difference between Link's fighting skill in the memory cutscenes and his skill in the game. In Age of Calamity, we can see him tearing through almost entire armies of monsters easily, and in that one cutscene in BotW, we can see that he took down all sorts monsters with ease, but in-game, he struggles a lot more when fighting the same monsters. All that time in the shrine wiped his memories and caused his skills to deteriorate, like you said!
Perhaps Purah's research into reverse-aging was also for the Hero but it was obviously never perfected. It would have been more ideal than having Link retrain at all the shrines every time he needed to be resurrected. Ganon would not be able to cause much chaos in Hyrule if Link was at max strength all the time with the Master Sword already in hand. It's interesting that Ganon's chamber is similar to the Shrine of Resurrection's main chamber. I know the game states that Ganon refused to die (something like that), but perhaps the Sheikah tried to put him into a suspended state to prevent him from being reborn. The Sheikah wanted as much control of the cycle as possible. It's a common theme in Japanese media that when humans try to control or take advantage of nature, nature strikes back to re-balance itself.
I thought that two since they are both connected to each other. It would take time for them both to heal. I don't believe you can just heal one and not the other.
I think you're forgetting about gameplay story segregation... Link probably was damaged, causing him to be sluggish in the cutscene, and the food is also another gameplay thing.
Here's my personal theory: the triforce we see on the back of zelda's hand when she protects Link is not the real triforce, rather, it's a sign that she has acheived power, wisdom, and courage, which is required to awaken her sealing power.
We've seen characters show signs of their respective triforce piece and use its power. So, having all three light up would indicate she has all three...
@@YoshionoKimochi SS Link had all 3 before he touched the triforce or even before he touched any piece of the triforce. BOTW follows the exact same pattern of SS, prove yourself worthy of power, wisdom and courage, that's why the springs of wisdon, power and courage are all in BOTW. Zelda is following the original Hylia/Zelda in re awakening her power by completing those trials.
Don't forget about his battle scars from this scene, though. He did sustain tons of damage that can't be obtained the same way in the game, so we can't just say that mechanics are law.
If Zelda's blast HAD just indiscriminately killed Link along with the Guardians, wouldn't it also have killed all of the Sheikah that were around, who showed up at the end of the memory? There would have been no one to come to her aid at that point, at least, not in time to get Link to the Shrine of Resurrection.
I thought the guardian killed Link by shooting a small beam to his chest maybe piercing a lung or heart and Zelda was too late to save him, obviously they can't show that much graphic content but that's what I got from Link's death scene Sometimes you just have to take video game logic into account
You know what this video makes me think outside your theory, that if breath of the wild is located in an especific timeline, it definitely has to be the downfall timeline, why? Because why would they build a shrine of ressurection if they haven't seen the hero fall before, that only happened in that timeline, and to add more to it, the botw 2 trailer reveals ganondorf the man be present in this timeline, in the other 2 timelines ganondorf the man was destroyed in ww and tp, impaled by the master sword, and was never seen again, just ganon the beast. By that logic this is the only ganondorf that hasn't been destroyed.
zalado it is not confirmed in either timeline that he died. It’s left up to you the player to come to your own conclusions. Btw Ganondorf(man) Ganon (beast) Same being. You don’t have to say “ganondorf the man” The shrine wasn’t for the hero it was for ganondorf. Used to put him in a stasis state to prevent his reincarnation.
@@mattlawrence6077 No, in that timeline link definitely died, "he was defeated" but we know what defeated means, that's why it's called the downfall timeline officialy. As for ganondorf, it's important to separate the human form from the beast, mainly because in wind waker ganondorf notices that he's doing the same cycle as before, it's like he was aware of the influence of the curse he has, and when his human form is destroyed, it never returns, only the beast part (I think only in four swords a new reincarnation is present, but as far as I know he doesn't even show up) As for the shrine, I don't know what you are talking about, I wasn't talking about the room that appears in the botw 2 trailer, I was talking about the shrine of ressurection in the beggining of botw
zalado the downfall timeline is a hypothetical “what if” link died that Nintendo created to try and fit the games into a structure. (Source- Nintendo.) it’s utter nonsense and screwed the timeline even more.
Ganon and ganondorf is the same exact being. That takes a human form and beast form. All I was telling you is that the man is called ganondorf. The beast is called ganon. You do not have to write ganondorf the man because the name ganonDORF is the name of the man. And ganon is the name for the beast. Same being.. the name distinguishes them. I assume botw is your first Zelda game.. I was talking about the same shrine you were talking about.
@@mattlawrence6077 It's the official timeline from nintendo, so we cannot just say it doesn't count. And I emphasize ganondorf just to be clear, because many people gets confused And no, it's not my first zelda, I'm a veteran fan since ocarina, I just don't understand why do you say that the shrine of resurrection is for ganondorf, that really doesn't make sense, it clearly was created for the hero with sheikah technology, where did you get that conclusion? I've never heard anyone said that before.
I have a theory that before the resurrection, Link was an amazing fighter with time manipulation powers, but took damage like anyone else. After, though, he heals much faster and recovers from exhaustion at a bizarre rate. I think this is because the shrine used Hylian versions of nanobots to fix him. After he comes back, these Nanos are still in his body, keeping it at peek efficiency as much as possible. Mostly by keeping him energized, such as oxygenating his muscles at a rapid pace, hence the quick stamina regen. They run off the energy of his body, which is why too much damage can cause a game over. To recharge these Nanos requires an energy intake, like from eating food.
That bluish liquid that was in the tub link was in must be filled with lotsa sheikah nanobots then the nano bot filled blue liquid got absorbed into the body and that’s how they entered his body.
I believe that link kept on fighting until he knew that Zelda was safe. And when Zelda gave off that blast, he duty was fulfilled and his body gave out
Your theory makes total sense! I have something to add to it though. See the sheikah know that there's a cycle that has gone on for a very long time between Zelda Link and Ganon. The purpose behind the technology was to help combat Ganon alongside the hero and princess. But knowing what they did they realized they could control the cycle and let it happen whenever they decided it to instead of letting destiny decide when and how it'll happen. Instead of letting both Ganon and link come back at unspecified place and times. Which is why instead of killing him they trapped Ganondorf they way we've seen in the Botw 2 trailer. And like you said they were going to do the same thing to the hero and That was when the current king realized that this had gone too far and banished the sheikah before they could trap the hero.
I like to think that the shrine of resurrection was made much longer ago so that when they took Gannon down, they had a place to resurrect him, wipe his memory and utilize his body as a battery to power the sheika tech.
Major theory about this, though this comment may not see the light of day: The resurrection shrine isn't healing or stasis-ing Link, who irrevocably died by Zelda's hand. Instead, it's using his body to transport the soul of a living Link from a branched timeline (or, swapping his body for another timeline Link wholesale). He doesn't remember the events of the past not because he's been unconscious but because HE isn't the Link that experienced it. The clothes don't fit because they belong to the deceased Link. Thus setting the stage for a Crisis on Infinite Hyrules and merging the disparate timelines.
with theories going around that the ancient hero mightve been a Gerudo/Barbarian could he also lack the Triforce of courage, what if upon hearing that he was to be sealed away potentially forever he got scared and Avatar Aang'd himself running away maybe living as a hermit in one of the countless abandoned settlements scattered throughout the hardest to reach areas of Hyrule
There was something to tie to this that link is of that barbarian group. Lots of in game info and info from all the equipment too. Hope you know the one i speak of. It produces the heros/links or something like that. Or typically is usually them who end up taking that mantle. Were all described as link does look like and lots of hints to stuff as he wears them too.
I'm a macabre person, so I have two theories on the fate of the 10k hero - one is more messed up than the other. The lighter of the two is this: Link is somehow that same guy. He was released from the Shrine of Resurrection as the signs grew closer, but since no one really seems to have hung out on the Plateau during the dawn of the Calamity, he wandered around without a memory until the man who adopted him brought him back to Hateno. This would explain why the chest clothes don't fit, but also why he's a veritable beastgod before the Calamity. The clothes no longer fit him because he has grown since his first recovery, he's a master swordsman as a child because he was already a master swordsman before he was adopted. The sword selected him because it was his sword. He forgets after a Century because it's been 100 years and he was never supposed to be put back. The Darker idea is this: The reason the Sheikah were banished was because the people of Hyrule were horrified at their final measure to safeguard against Ganon - essentially vaporizing the 10k Hero's body to preserve his mind and experience. The hero agreed to sacrifice himself so that his psyche could be partially imprinted on the next hero, thus allowing them to essentially double the Hero's power. So they were anticipating that someone would remember to chuck the next hero in the Shrine as soon as he was discovered so they could supercharge him. Now, people don't generally like learning that their hero has been unmade, even to protect them, so they went ape on the Sheikah, who tried to preserve the knowledge through oral tradition, but that's... unreliable. The clothes were set aside for a future hero, but belonged to the previous one. Links memories disappear because there was an attempt to overwrite which failed (10k years would have brain structures evolve somewhat, the old thought patterns became incompatible with the new brain). He can now enter the Shrines because they recognize him (not the slate) as the Hero they were built for. Only Fi remembers.
Exactly. And i find that both versions of the story are true since stuff this rich tends to have alot of grey areas that are chalk full of rabbit holes lost to time or so well hidden. The sheika and any other hidden individuals and races we dont know about must know alot. Its just up to us to put it all together. We dont always need the say so from the makers themselves for sometimes writers can get too clouded with their own creations. 💖💖💖💖💖
Was coming just to comment the same thing (in reference to your second theory). I like the idea that the 10K Hero basically became "Soul Juice Ex-Machina" for the next hero to inherit. Which also makes me wonder -- is it possible that the Sheikah/other ancient groups decided to attempt to seal Ganondorf away? They would not know or weren't sure if the Hero would be okay after being in stasis for who knows how long (possibly a side effect they discovered of the Shrine is memory loss gradually, i.e. he continuously forgets some things every time he would wake up from stasis), so they did the next best thing: seal the other being that would be reincarnated. I think at the time the Royal Family were deciding to banish Sheikah tech, they were only planning on sealing the Hero away, not vaporizing him into Soul Juice, but as you said -- no one likes hearing their idol is going away, especially if they were acutely aware of Calamity Ganon's possible reincarnation every 100 or so years. So the Hero took it upon himself, along with the research into the stasis, to suggest something else to a discreet group of Sheikah -- put his memories into the Stasis Goop, so that the next Hero can inherit his will and memories (again, as you theorized). And once the Royal family found out what they'd done, that was the turning point, which brought the hammer down on them and got their tech banished. But not before they sealed the new Ganondorf away -- who had been discovered (most likely ~20 years after the sealing of Sheikah tech began); so the Royal family, with no new Hero (and possibly no new Princess of Hylia's Blood who could wield the sealing power), implored some Sheikah technicians to help them seal Ganondorf away, hoping this would break the doomed cycle they've been repeating for ages.
I love this it's a lot of fun and I agree completely, but as a sewist I have to say the clothes would have shrunk. Those chests aren't air tight and even if they were they would have as they are likely cotton or wool, which is /very/ easily affected by the environment. However it is likely without the chest they would have just fallen apart completely.
Remaining entirely neutral on the whole Zelda's power theory, I think there is some evidence in favor of it, but there are holes. For example, in the cutscene where he goes down for the count, he isn't just knocked to his rear. When we see him getting up before Zelda unleashes her power, he's visibly stumbling or at least having difficulty getting back up and standing. When he's at zero stamina and/or one quarter heart in gameplay, his footing is still pretty steady, and he's about as steady getting back up once he stops ragdolling. This means it is possible that he was acting outside of normal stat parameters during that time. Whether this means pulling a Galuf or the health and stamina argument is just an instance of the gameplay being separate from the story, it is still nonetheless possible that his injuries were indeed beyond what would normally be survivable even for Link, and that the blast simply sped up the process. As for how he could have gotten to that point, imagine having to fight twenty or more guardians (with desynched lasers) using a broken Master Sword (as we see the state it's in quite prominently) and no shield while protecting Zelda until she was able to finally figure out how her powers worked... And most likely out of food, meaning no health or stamina recovery... And being constantly in the run. Even the Hylian Champion himself could, in theory be overwhelmed eventually. In regards to the Shrine's purpose theory, it is entirely possible that the minimum time it takes for the Shrine of Resurrection to restore someone could be determined by the severity of the injuries or ailments themselves (example, a minor bruise would only take a few hours at most but almost being deader than dead would make you take a bare minimum of a century).
LordNul1 I agree. I think it took Link 100 years to recover, and Zelds could sense he was ready. Also, I didn't notice the bomb having any effect on Link, his stance remained the same as it went off and he didn't appear any more beat up afterwards.
I always thought it took 100 years because of the severity of his injuries. Surely if they could have resurrected him sooner, they would have had no reason to postpone that.
OOOORRR! It was because the sheikah towers had to go underground to hide from Ganons ability to taint them! And because they went down, let's say they were used as amplifiers in a network to power the resurrection device and so it took so long because it was running on very very low battery!? We know the sheikah tech is all connected...
i think that link probably died from the consequences of the outburst of zelda's power (i.e. debris) instead of the power itself. if zelda can activate her power at will, that means she should have a certain measure of control over it, and she probably wouldn't have intentionally hurt link. he could have definitely still been killed by the power, but that's just my take on things.
What if the shrine of resurrection link was put in is actually a second one and the first one is located in Hyrule Castle where you find Calamity Ganon. Ganon may have somehow possessed the first shrine of resurrection, like how he takes over the guardians and divine beasts, while the ancient hero was stasis'd inside of it. Ganon might have merged with the shrine along with the hero.
Same as Spanish, iirc it's Santuario de la Vida, i.e Sanctuary of ((the)) Life. Shrine translates to Santuario by the way, so if there's a specific distinction between a Shrine and a Sanctuary, it's lost in translation
I always pronounce Fi as "Fee" because it matches a solfege syllable (the half-step between fa and so). Zelda, for a very long time, has had an integral relationship with it's music, with multiple games having instruments, musical tools or songs as major plot points (the goddess harp, the ocarina of time, the windwaker, wolf link howling, etc...)
Do you think shrine could’ve taken the strength from previous links and merge their remaining power into wild link, which would explain the differences in ability before and after the calamity and the timelines merging?
Extra addition: gannon can corrupt sheikah tech, right? The resurrection chamber is sheikah tech, right? So, there WERE two, maybe even three resurrection chambers for the whole triforce, gannon corrupted and took over one, and zelda couldn't remove gannon from the cuccoon, so she held him there, gannon probably didnt know about the other 1 or 2 chambers, and just took over the one in the throne room! (Maybe the throne was the version of the bed, but they need to activate it so its a throne they can still sit on without comas!)
"It's a wish she made." Yes, a wish she made to stop the GUARDIANS, and protect both her AND LINK. You're crazy if you think the splash zone of the wish meant to protect actually affected him. (Edit) Btw, where are the secrets?? You asked like 2 questions at the beginning, and then the rest was essentially a plug and further explanation to the other video....
Your "Shrine of Resurrection was made for the first Hero" is clever, and I like it a lot, but what if the Shrine, or some version of it, was initially built to keep Ganondorf alive after he was defeated far beneath the surface? Keep Ganondorf alive but incapacitated so that he can't reincarnate in a few hundred years and continue to thrash about ruining an unending Golden Era? Does anyone have any sort of evidence supporting/condemning such a theory?
Jared Bonaminio well, the shrine helps regenerating. Sure, it has stasis capabilities, but healing occurs when someone is there (maybe natural healing or artificial). I don’t think the sheikah meant to help Ganon regenerate
I don't think the Shrine of Resurrection was meant for that just based off the size of the bed. It's perfectly sized for Link, so Ganondorf wouldn't fit. However, I do think the same concept is used in trailer, where Ganondorf is trapped. I think there's similar tubes like there is in the shrine of resurrection (not sure though, can't remember)
Now in totk the ‘ancient hero’s aspect’ gives us a better idea of what the hero looked like so it’s a good idea that maybe the clothes were for him, he was a different species after all. Also I’m not sure, but since the armour’ envelopes the wearer in the soul of the ancient hero’, it Indicates that the hero died and was sealed somehow in the armour, possibly for the future link to wear and gain power.
I love these videos. I just found your channel and I'm binging them all now! But I have just one thing to point out about the clothing in the Shrine of Resurrection: they are the same as the monks in other shrines wear, and they are also a little small for them. This leads me to think they didn't belong to the ancient hero, or if they did, their size has nothing to do with it. That's all!!
Personally I think all the shrines and the shrine of resurrection weren't created for the past hero. The Sheikah monks already state that Hylia can give them messages and visions and prophecies. I think she knew that the future hero would need help. I think Hylia had the Sheikah create all those things especially for the hero of the wild.
Hello I think I may have something interesting, what if the Zonai tribe are connected to the Fierce Deity, now I know that the Fierce Deity mask is said to contain the memories of all Termina's inhabitants and Termina is a parallel world from Hyrule but than again contain, not made from the memories of them, yet both the Zonai and the Fierce Deity are complete mysteries and we know little to nothing about them and their origins, even though there are theories on the Fierce Deity, we still up to this day don't know who he is or where he came from, some say he is from Hyrule who came to Termina, or he is from Termina itself and is Link's counterpart but I believe that he may have come from a different plane of existence and may have had an impact to Hyrule as much as he had an impact on Termina, what if he founded the Zonai Tribe, it makes sense since if you look at both the Zonai armour and Fierce diety armour you can see war paint on the Fierce deity's face and war paint on the Zonai armour but not only that but the name Fierce means having or displaying an intense or ferocious aggressiveness and the Fierce diety was a warrior god, perhaps even a god of war hence his name Fierce, he was ferocious in battle and this would also explain why the Zonai tribe are a war like tribe in the first place they were taught in the art of war and perhaps some ancient magic unknown to the Shika and to the Hyrule Royal family by their founder the fierce diety a god of war in mortal form, and this may also be why the Zonai worship the dragon Farosh since Farosh represents courage and dragons are known to wield incredible destructive power, so in a war like tribe they would need strong, courageous warriors and something to inspire them, hence the Fierce diety and Farosh, now there is no evidence supporting that the Fierce diety founded the Zonai tribe but there are clear similarities between both the Zonai and the Fierce deity and so I do hope alot of you give this some thought and have a great day also another point to make is that why would the Fierce diety take mortal form well if the Godess Hylia could be reincarnated as a mortal surely the fierce diety could but unlike Hylia he would have disguised himself or taken human form with his power still intact and this would explain why he is now in the form of a mask in Termina perhaps something happened and he was locked away in a mask by perhaps the unknown tribe in Termina or by the people of Termina itself in fear of his power or he could have died in mortal form and they sealed his spirit in a mask after he arrived in Termina or something
This theory is pretty interesting though it is kinda sad that the Sheikah built the Shrine of Ressuruction to keep the hero in stasis for when Ganon returned. It kinda shows that they saw him as a weapon and not a person (as another comment stated) and that's kinda sad.
Aside from the incident that put Link into the shrine, I had a thought occur while watching the portion of the video discussing the shrine itself. It's very clear to me that the uncovering of the Shiekah artifacts was relatively recent. It's entirely possible that Link himself could be much, much older than even the hundred years he was in stasis. Considering we don't have much of Link's history before becoming the man he was before Calamity reawakened, I don't think it's much of a stretch to speculate that maybe he emerged from the Shrine as a kid and went on to roam around forming new memories and heroic feats. Even a hundred years in stasis was enough to wipe many memories to the point of requiring some jogging to come back, why wouldn't 10,000 years just completely wipe his memory plus some sort of suggestion to forget the Shrine itself? Dunno how sound this is, but it strikes me as being possible. Especially since the Hero has been shown multiple times to possess some crazy potential even as a child. Plus that would explain somewhat about the clothes being too small and of much older style. He was much younger when he was sealed the first time around and back then they fit. More than likely though, the clothes were just some old things the shiekah had lying around that fit Link even if they were a bit tight.
I kinda have a mini theory on what happened to the hero of 10,000 years ago, but before I say anything else this is just kinda a crack pot theory so I’m probably wrong. I think the hero of 10,000 years ago may have been half Hylian and half Gerudo. With the hero being half Gerudo and Hylian that could explain why the hero in Sheikah depiction of the battle with calamity Gannon has the hero rocking flowing red hair, and so maybe the hero of 10,000 years ago was the male Gerudo of the time and somehow became Gerudo instead of Gannon. With Gannon not being able to take a male Gerudo form due to the hero being the male Gerudo of the time instead took an astral form which we see as Calamity Gannon. But during the battle 10,000 years ago that hero fell during the battle, or fell quickly after the Calamity was sealed so when they buried the hero he slowly decomposed, but before the hero’s body completely decayed Gannon somehow took the corpse of the hero and started to try to reclaim a male Gerudo form as his own, and I feel like that’s what we see in the trailer of breath of the wild 2 because looking at the corpse it looks withered, and maybe 10,000 years old and kinda looks like it’s been taking over by malice, and when Link and Zelda stumble by it Gannon is finally able to have somewhat of control over the body. But there are many holes in this theory like if Gannon is trying to take over the corpse of a hero wouldn’t the malice be going in the corpse and not out. Then there’s the argument of the corpse being twilight princesses Gannondorf’s corpse which is probably is probably the case. The main hole I see with my theory is that if Calamity Gannon was sealed how on Earth would he be able to gain the Hero’s corpse. But since we’re probably not going to get a lot of Zelda news in a while I thought this was a fun theory to share so let me know if you have anything you want to add to this theory
If this is true it would be awesome. Maybe the malice is flowing out of Ganon because he has gained control over the body and is using the excess malice to escape his seal. Maybe he lured Link and Zelda into the chamber and used the malice to destroy the chamber (we see Zelda fall). He knew that by destroying the chamber the hero and princess would be in danger and the seal hand thing would have no choice but to save them. This would break the seal and allow him to escape. But I like your theory a lot!
@Ninja Man your theory could probably be true but has some flaws. In Zeltik's video here:ruclips.net/video/YUaKoAFs1H8/видео.html states that Calamity Ganon was just a mere puppet. Just watch the video to get an in-depth reason why. The body is Ganondorf and Ganondorf alone. In the trailer you can see malice pouring out of Ganondorf's chest not into it. That's where the flaw of your theory is. Calamity Ganon could have corrupted it but it was pouring which means that Ganondorf was the person who created Calamity Ganon and malice. You can see that the corpse resembles Ganondorf with the jewel on his head, long red hair, gerudo symbols etc. The Gerudo hero thing also has a flaw. Creating a Champion said that after the evil and wickedness of Ganondorf the Gerudo refuse to have any males in their tribe fearing someone like Ganondorf would rise there were 2 points it brought up. The Hero corruption thing is cool but not very correct.
Theory: What if, the first time calamity Gannon came (when the shika won) he was killed by the past hero and the shika made the shrine of resurrection for the him. Then the hero went into status for the next 1000 years. When he woke up, he walked out side the shrine and lived a normal life for many years, until he noticed he was great with in combat. He then got appointed as the zelda’s knight. This hero’s name was Link.
Aint no way that blast is what caused Link to die. He was already on the brink of collapse before the blast, the only thing even keeping him conscious was his desire to protect Zelda. He passed out because he saw that Zelda was safe, and his fatigue finally caught up with him.
Since the yiga clan used to be sheikah, and they want to resurrect ganon for revenge, maybe the yiga stole the tech from the sheikah (since the tech in the shine of resurrection is the same as the tech in Hyrule Castle which is were ganon is regaining his strength) and they resurrected ganon. Just a thought though
Hey MNB, I absolutely love this video, but your theory seems to contradict itself. If Link was damaged beyond repair thanks to Zelda, (which I believe IS highly possible) then why was he healed when placed in the shrine or resurrection if the shrine was only meant to keep the ancient hero in stasis until they needed him. I think it’s highly unlikely that the Sheika built the shrine of resurrection with healing powers if they were intending to put a fully healthy hero in it. If Link was damaged beyond repair, the shrine of resurrection would have to have healing powers, but I just don’t see that happening if it was meant to only be a stasis chamber. Idk, maybe I just missed something. Love ya MNB!
Welp, there goes my theory that Breath of the Wild 2 is gonna be a repeat of Skyward Sword with Link (and Zelda in this case) going back thousands of years to the legendary event spoken of in-game (Hylia vs. Demise in Skyward Sword and the Great Calamity in Breath of the Wild) and Link becomes the very hero of the legend he'd heard so much about (Skyward Sword Link becoming the hero who defeated Demise after Hylia sealed him away and Breath of the Wild Link becoming the hero who halted the Calamity ten thousand years ago). And it all went out the window because of an ancient pair of pants that make Link look like he's expecting a flood.
Link: *can survive being smashed by rocks, being hit by lasers, sliced and cut by swords, falling off cliffs, and being thrown into a cliff Also link: *freezes to death*
Pretty solid theory. It makes a lot of sense. I imagine the hero of 10,000 years ago simply wasn't able to be put in the shrine because of the royal family forbidding the use of the tech. They probably just never bothered to recover his stuff from the shrine after they shut it down. And I think Zelda might have waited so long to reawaken Link because she wanted to give the world time to recover from the calamity so there could be infrastructure like the Stables for Link to use. That kind of support system did give Link a better chance while exploring Hyrule and gathering his resources. Maybe even she wanted to give Robbie enough time to finish his work so Link would have all that ancient tech gear at his disposal for the final fight.
I don’t think Zelda almost killed Link, but I think that he was trying to stand up despite how fatigued he looks because he wanted to protect Zelda, and when she unlocks her power and destroys the guardians Link let’s himself fall because he knew the princess was safe.
so i was watching this vid and midway through i started to wonder... what happens in the trailer of BOTW 2? so i did a little research and to me it seemed like ganon was also in a shrine of ressurection, but depowered to keep him stuck there.... once link and zelda found it link accidently used his newfound magic and the malice corrupted it activating the 2nd shrine of ressurection causing ganon to be ressurected. after all it was sheika technology that was down around ganon... so either the sheika did that to keep him contained or the yiga attempted to resurect ganon.
@BanditGames to help with the end of the therory on why she waited 100 years to wake him up I think it might be because of the master sword healing and even when link woke up it wasn't even fineshed because as Zelda said her power is weakening and can't hold him for much longer so I believe that is why
Thing 1: Have you noticed that the thing that hangs above Link in the Shrine of Resurrection looks a lot like an upside down Divine Beast central terminal? Thing 2: Why is there a Korok in the Shrine of Resurrection? My personal theory is that it was placed there by the Great Deku Tree to inform him if the process went wrong or if someone or something broke in.
@@Makkaru112 Okay yeah that's exactly what I meant. She was acting like a child not a leader it shouldn't have required Mipha to tell her to grow up and deal with her feelings in the first place imo.
"The only one to kill Link in Cannon is Gannon" You're forgetting that the wind fish might have killed Link in Cannon like it was the wind fish that hit him with the initial bolt of lightning and then he leaves him in the middle of the ocean on not enough boat and that's the Link to the Past Link. You know one of the Links who can't swim and we never hear about interpretation of Link ever again so....
Something you said created a new train of thought for me. It's generally accepted that the figure on the tapestry fighting the calamity is not Link, but possibly Gannon. You said something along the lines of "that era's hero"...what if Gannon, as a young Gerudo, was the chosen hero 10,000 years ago? Perhaps that explains the body we see in the BOTW2 trailer, and young Gannon took in the malice and calamity to seal them away within himself, thus calling for a new hero (Link) to awaken when the calamity came back/broke through the seal
Okay! My theory. What if (I’ve said this before) that Ganondorf was the hero 10,000 years ago. That hero had red hair. So what if he was intended to lay dormant in the shrine but the royal family had other plans. They took him out of the shrine BECAUSE of his origins and they feared him( being a different hero than the rest) then they sealed him underground. THEN they run the sheikah off! Could also explain why he looks like a redead because of the effects of the shrine of resurrection. That would also make him aware of ALL the tech.
I like this theory but I still disagree with the theory that Zelda caused link to collapse. Zelda’s power is pure of wisdom and her whole intent was to protect link so whatever she was wishing in her head was for the soul purpose of saving and protecting Link. That’s how we’ll win. Not by killing what we hate, but saving what we love. I think it would also be a bad idea to connect things from our world like comas because lets be real, Hyrule is nothing like earth.
I think it more along the lines of the fact that she might have taken the last of his strength from him. From past iterations of the game, Ganon, Link, and Zelda have represented parts of the Tri-force. In the clip that you showed, Zelda isn't using just one part of the Tre-force on her hand but all 3. Link is OP but if Zelda was able to take away his power for even a moment, which would in turn make him more susceptible to his wounds and ultimately succumb to them.
what about when calamity Ganon took over the sheika tech, the old hero died in the shrine as Ganon turned the machine against his body, draining him of his life.
HP/hearts in Zelda basically have to be a point of gameplay and story separation. We don't see Link staggering or getting clumsy when he's taken a lot of damage because with the gameplay the developers were building, that would be a huge pain. We also never see him with scratches or covered in mud in-game, but we see both of those in memories.
You know how there are some theories that Breath of the Wild is at the end of all the timelines, brought together by Hyrule Warriors? One of the problems some people have with the timeline is that the hero can't both fail and succeed in that timeline, so it must not fit the game--even if the game itself shows many aspects of different games from different timelines. To make a hero that reflects all the timelines, they needed a hero who could both fail and succeed. But with the Shrine of Resurrection, this is made possible. Link "failed" the first time by not being able to defeat Calamity Ganon, then when he is resurrected, he also becomes the hero that succeeds. Resurrect means to restore a life--but he'd have to have lost his life in the first place for that to happen. The act of resurrecting reflects both a failure and a success.
There is something to mention about Link's combat prowess. If you go back to one of the memories, you can see Link after he defeated 50 lynels, bokoblins, etc etc dead across the field
THE ANCIENT HERO IS LEGIT MAZ KOSHIA! Its so obvi due to Maz Koshia being dead and also the controller of well, the labyrinth. Plus he can tp anywhere he wants and also to being basically supernatural of cloning and manipulating his clones to do exactly what he does himself. (Btw, he can use elemental arrows which means he had to either buy or collect them)
Quick theory as to why Zelda waited so lo g to resurrect Link; the longer he's in there, the more complete the restoration - this would explain why despite having the Master Sword in the memories, he's back down to three hearts by the time he wakes up! Presumably if he'd been in there longer he would have regained his full strength, but Zelda had to wake him up before that because she could feel Calamity Ganon getting stronger!
What's your favorite outfit for Link to wear in Breath of the Wild? You know, besides his birthday suit 😂
Mine is the hylian outfit! 😀
The one from ocarina of time
Tunic of the Wild
Dark Link only cause that is one of my favorite obstacles link must overcome..his own darkness
Fierce Deity outfit
Makes you think though, Impa, Purah, and Robbie had 100 years while link was sleeping and none of them thought to stash some clothes or supplies for him. "He can just scrounge what's already here, he'll be fine"
I'm pretty sure they couldn't get back in once the chamber was sealed. They left Link with the only remaining Sheika Slate, since Purah lost hers in the castle.
I don’t think they could’ve even reached the great plateau, it was blocked.
I figured the clothes were left for link and just shrunk a bit.
The way to the plateau was destroyed, the old guy literally told us that in the start
@A B Yes old guy
Kinda make me wonder if there more to the king of 10000 years ago banishment of the sheikan, maybe sealing the hero wasn't something he was okay with.
Never thought that it may have been made to keep the ancient hero in a stasis state until Ganon returned...interesting.
Honestly its really something to think about isn't it. You, MNB, Zeltik, and Hyrule Gamer have literally begun my obsession with zelda theories 🤣. I look for a good theory and ask myself questions everytime i play a zelda game now.

Gannon is being held in stasis by the toilet hand.
I think it sealed link

What if the next Legend of Zelda was just us playing as Zelda? 🤔
@@Beastier Would be nice.
I really like this theory and sounds possible, why doesn't this have more likes?
But if they were trying to do this, they would have failed, as calamity Ganon is most likely created from the malice leaking from Ganondorf
Never thought of that ummmm
Just a theory, A GAME THEORY
Mat pat noises intensify
So basically a side-effect of the shrine was preemptively treating Link for PTSD he would probably have once he woke up.
Link's memory was wiped to make the storyline. The shrine of resurrection was made so the game would have a starting point to fit the storyline they made up.
It's no deeper than that.

It also could have just been the pressure of the blast that made link's consciousness say "ima head out"

Mipha told zelda that maybe if she focused on helping the one she loved (she never finished it, but it was implied that she'd say "well...maybe if you try to use it to protect someone you care about... ")

Age of calamity isn’t canon so this dissproves that

@@myadoesrandomthings It is canon, Hyrule warriors isn't
My own theory:
The Sheikah have learned the ultimate power: The ability to harness the power of the triforce itself.
Cool theory
you should make your own video about this!
@@Ivystripestudios that's nice, but... I don't have a channel [insert shrugface here]
I kind of agree, but I think the Shiekah harnessed the Triforce of Wisdom, not Courage.
I just think the sheikah used magic to power their technology
I personally think Link was at 0 hearts when he was “catching his breath” but threw pure will he continued to fight

All that time in the shrine wiped his memories and caused his skills to deteriorate, like you said!
or because were playing as him?
Speaking of "reverse-aging," doesn't anyone wonder what Purah's failed experiment that made her a child WAS????????????????????????
You guessed the synopsis of Tears of the Kingdom 2 years prior, gg !! 😂😂

I thought the guardian killed Link by shooting a small beam to his chest maybe piercing a lung or heart and Zelda was too late to save him, obviously they can't show that much graphic content but that's what I got from Link's death scene
Sometimes you just have to take video game logic into account
So you’re telling me they didn’t even left him clothes that would actually fit him? rude.
Btw Ganondorf(man) Ganon (beast)
Same being.
You don’t have to say “ganondorf the man”
The shrine wasn’t for the hero it was for ganondorf. Used to put him in a stasis state to prevent his reincarnation.
@@mattlawrence6077 No, in that timeline link definitely died, "he was defeated" but we know what defeated means, that's why it's called the downfall timeline officialy.
As for ganondorf, it's important to separate the human form from the beast, mainly because in wind waker ganondorf notices that he's doing the same cycle as before, it's like he was aware of the influence of the curse he has, and when his human form is destroyed, it never returns, only the beast part (I think only in four swords a new reincarnation is present, but as far as I know he doesn't even show up)
As for the shrine, I don't know what you are talking about, I wasn't talking about the room that appears in the botw 2 trailer, I was talking about the shrine of ressurection in the beggining of botw
zalado the downfall timeline is a hypothetical “what if” link died that Nintendo created to try and fit the games into a structure.
And I emphasize ganondorf just to be clear, because many people gets confused
And no, it's not my first zelda, I'm a veteran fan since ocarina, I just don't understand why do you say that the shrine of resurrection is for ganondorf, that really doesn't make sense, it clearly was created for the hero with sheikah technology, where did you get that conclusion?
That bluish liquid that was in the tub link was in must be filled with lotsa sheikah nanobots then
the nano bot filled blue liquid got absorbed into the body and that’s how they entered his body.
I believe that link kept on fighting until he knew that Zelda was safe.
And when Zelda gave off that blast, he duty was fulfilled and his body gave out
AND THAT"S JUST A THEORY A- maskednintendobandit theory.... what you thought I was going to say something else?
Danny Seko - Yeah!!
I went and double checked which channel I was on 😂
Using Gameplay Mechanics to explain a theory is always flawed. Glad this theory works without it too.
Yea. I call that thing "Gameplay-world's law inconsistency"
Boy have I been exited for this one! Ive been checking RUclips every time I wasn’t busy with Botw
It makes me irrationally angry that in the ad segment he’s playing his switch with the earbuds, but switch doesn’t support bluetooth

@@derekwynn3202 yeah I know and it’s so cool!!
What I like was when you said
“Fee, Fi !!”
...and here I was waiting on "Fo" and "Fum" to complete the tangents... :·p
4:50 We can clearly see that link is still concious when the blast begun, so it makes sense that the blast was powerful enough to beat him at the end
i think that link probably died from the consequences of the outburst of zelda's power (i.e. debris) instead of the power itself. if zelda can activate her power at will, that means she should have a certain measure of control over it, and she probably wouldn't have intentionally hurt link. he could have definitely still been killed by the power, but that's just my take on things.
8:58 In other language its also caled different, in Gernan for example its „shrine of life“.
Same as Spanish, iirc it's Santuario de la Vida, i.e Sanctuary of ((the)) Life.
Shrine translates to Santuario by the way, so if there's a specific distinction between a Shrine and a Sanctuary, it's lost in translation
Zelda “oops I killed link meh resurrect him”

This man's voice is so calming
This is the earliest that i have ever been on a youtube vid
I always pronounce Fi as "Fee" because it matches a solfege syllable (the half-step between fa and so). Zelda, for a very long time, has had an integral relationship with it's music, with multiple games having instruments, musical tools or songs as major plot points (the goddess harp, the ocarina of time, the windwaker, wolf link howling, etc...)
I always called her Fee but I looked it up and apparently the correct pronunciation is Fai. So that's what I call her now
Never confuse what the giants said: "fee, fi, fo, fum".
4:15 we all know that mans jus ran out of hearty simmered fruit smh
Should've brought more hearty durians tbh
Do you think shrine could’ve taken the strength from previous links and merge their remaining power into wild link, which would explain the differences in ability before and after the calamity and the timelines merging?
iguess?
Extra addition: gannon can corrupt sheikah tech, right? The resurrection chamber is sheikah tech, right? So, there WERE two, maybe even three resurrection chambers for the whole triforce, gannon corrupted and took over one, and zelda couldn't remove gannon from the cuccoon, so she held him there, gannon probably didnt know about the other 1 or 2 chambers, and just took over the one in the throne room! (Maybe the throne was the version of the bed, but they need to activate it so its a throne they can still sit on without comas!)
I think that The GUARDIAN actually Shot Link in LAST MOMENT. Then the Zelda's power OF sealing didn't bring any PAIN to the hero.
"It's a wish she made."
Yes, a wish she made to stop the GUARDIANS, and protect both her AND LINK.
You're crazy if you think the splash zone of the wish meant to protect actually affected him.
(Edit) Btw, where are the secrets?? You asked like 2 questions at the beginning, and then the rest was essentially a plug and further explanation to the other video....
and why would it hurt link but not her if she is in the "blast radius" too
Your "Shrine of Resurrection was made for the first Hero" is clever, and I like it a lot, but what if the Shrine, or some version of it, was initially built to keep Ganondorf alive after he was defeated far beneath the surface?
So we'll be like the laparus chamber from the X-Men for Apocalypse.
BotW Link: *already a bit of a manlet*
Ancient hero: *”damn”*
I thought the ancient hero was Ocarina of Time Link
The one from ocarina of time or the twilight one ☝️
What do you mean ?

@Eevee Blackberry He said that because he can't decide. He likes both but cant decide.
"one and only Link"
😶... who's gonna tell him?
Not me
I... Might
Hey MNB, I absolutely love this video, but your theory seems to contradict itself.
Link: *can survive being smashed by rocks, being hit by lasers, sliced and cut by swords, falling off cliffs, and being thrown into a cliff
Also link: *freezes to death*
“Its the shrine of resurrection, not the shrine of healing” this made me laugh and i dont know y
so i was watching this vid and midway through i started to wonder... what happens in the trailer of BOTW 2?
so i did a little research and to me it seemed like ganon was also in a shrine of ressurection, but depowered to keep him stuck there.... once link and zelda found it link accidently used his newfound magic and the malice corrupted it activating the 2nd shrine of ressurection causing ganon to be ressurected. after all it was sheika technology that was down around ganon... so either the sheika did that to keep him contained or the yiga attempted to resurect ganon.
Was Zelda's melodrama, floundering inaction and thirst for her bodyguard the cause of every bad thing that happens in BOTW?... yes, yes it was.
Nope. Watch the video titled what if Mipha finished her sentence.
@@Makkaru112 I will thanks
@@Makkaru112 Okay yeah that's exactly what I meant. She was acting like a child not a leader it shouldn't have required Mipha to tell her to grow up and deal with her feelings in the first place imo.
The barbarian set
Imagine if the skull is the head of the hero from 10,000 years ago
Cato: I never saw that, that is pretty cool
Is no one going to talk about how attractive he is... no... just me... okay. :)
If you look closely at the last memory when can link is barely breathing but still alive
