Ike Reilly, Put A Little Love In It.

Song Writers song swap night at Camp In #10 ends with Johnny and David joining Ike on his crowd favorite sing along song, Put a Little Love in It. I think this is my 6th time seeing Ike play and the 5th time he ended with this song. The other show, well, I think he quit on that show, and didn't try too hard to please us. Meaning the bar was way too loud and he got pissed off trying to sing over the talkers. That was the night Lowery told the bar to shut the f*** up, but they didn't.
Anyway, Put a little love in it is a sad tune, about a person that killed himself by setting himself on fire. Although it contains lyrics such as "as his flesh cracks and flakes", the crowd loves to sing along to this morbidly, uplifting number. Weird to use those two words side by side.
