- Join us this week as we finally leave the coast and head towards Turkey's second largest salt lake - Tuz Golu (Lake Tuz), stopping off at the unbelievable Green Canyon and historic Sultan Hani along the way. We also enjoy our best Turkish Breakfast so far and meet some friendly Turkish people along our voyage !

OMG did I enjoy it! Stunning scenery all the way! Breathtaking! That lake, when you stood there, it seemed like you could look out to infinity all around you as if no one else existed but you two. I would remember that particular moment for ever. Was a bit disappointed I did not get to see the flamingos this time; was looking forward to that and it would have been the cheery on the cake. But all in all this has to be one of my favorite vlogs if not the most favorite. Loved it! Take care guys ❤
This place was magic ! So memorable and even met some great people around this area. We had good weather too, everything together makes it just perfect (albeit no flamingos) 😊

The Lake T is absolutely amauing, I have never seen anything like it. Also the historic town you visited is mind-blowing, a bit like the Alhambra. Oh, I want to drive to Turkey right this moment instead of driving to work
That whole area is stunning indeed. What a unique place 🙂 just one wrong turn on the autobahn and you can be heading east in no time 😁

The scenery at the Green Canyon looks amazing, what beautiful views. Think I preferred it to Lake Tuz. Good luck with the diet, must be very difficult to do in Turkey
Yeah the Green Canyon was really amazing but we also loved Lake Tuz with the van - ooh yes diet is hard ! 😂

It's been a long day here, with family stuff going on, but I was intrigued to see the salt lake & what you guys have been up to since the crazy cat attack!
Like ya mum says Chris, the scenery was amazing along the way, some great background music & drone shots as always.
* Chris is getting cheekier as these VLOGs go on eh Charlene, referring to you as a 'Casual doctor / Mini-Mouse' combo is just sooooo rude! (& then commenting on your driving too)!! .... I would have got a clip around the ear at the next stop haha.
Q. How many bloody dishes do two people need for breakfast?? ... Jeepers! - I wasn't sure if you were going to eat it ... or climb it at one point!!
The green salad you made looked nice Charlene, think I spotted capers & avocado? ... but yes, you guys need to eat healthy as you don't want to end up as 'chunky monkeys' :) :)
Anyway, I'm being rude now! ... best I get off to bed.

The Turkish breakfast is indeed a large one, as I mentioned the plates just keep coming and then you think you can start eating and they bring more plates haha !

I've been following your "amazing": journeys for some time now. One question I have (and don't feel obliged to answer if don't feel inclined) is how do you fund a journey like this which seems to last indefinitely. Fuel, food, van maintenance etc, must cost a lot in the long run?
Thanks so much 🙏 Yes no problem we will try to do a Q&A later this year and talk a bit more about it in detail. But basically we shoot videos and photos for brands - mostly hotels and tourism boards. So when we're in Europe our travels will follow our work - but for Turkey it's just a matter of working a lot before and after ! My website is also linked if you wanna check out some work 🙂
