This video shows you how to install a serpentine belt idler pulley on your 2009-2020 Dodge Journey. That squealing noise coming from your vehicle’s engine compartment could be a slipping belt, or it could be a bad pulley bearing, or both. A bad pulley could eventually damage the belt, which could create even further damage.

I think it would be better to check everything up top so if off it's easier to make adjustment once you have completely in place then put back together
