Spasibo! I love St. Petersburg above all Russian cities, truly it is the "Venice of the North"! Kazanskaya Cathedral, the Church on Spilt Blood & Alexander Nevsky Monastery are my favorite places in the city. On my return visit, I hope to enjoy some of it's more " secular" offerings. Again, thank you for uploading this!
Victory Park next to the soccer stadium, pedestrian bridge and "300 years of Saint Petersburg" park is a good route to overview the brand new Saint Petersburg, new passanger port with huge cruise ships, new cable bridges, skyscraper etc. It's a huge pedestrian zone with a lot of activities, attraction park, roller coster etc. Novokrestovskay or Begovay subway stations.

We visisted St. Petersburg several years ago while on a cruise. I am not sure why, (probably traffic!), but the tour companies steered us away from these areas.
