Hi young un, i see the floozy in the jacuzzi was working again you were pretty lucky to see that.
Brummagem is very mixed from old historic buildings through the concrete jungle of the 60s and 70s, to much more modern and innovative buildings.
When the new library was built, if i remember correctley it was the largest in Europe at the time, funno if it still is tho.
Maybe if you visit Brum again plan a trip, from New St Station through the The Bull Ring Open Markets, (on a market day, but it does get busy busy), go in a anti clockwise circle route towards Aston University, left towards Corporation Street (take in the old General Hospital which became the Childrens Hospital, across the road the old Steelhouse Lane Police Station then upto the law Courts followed by the Birmingham Post & Mail and new Police HQ, Colmore Row To the Town Hall, Down New Street to the Shopping Centre and Back into New Street Station.
It's not a bad walk if you can fit into your timeline. Good luck to ya now.
Oh and the Brummies usual Hello greeting would be " Awroight Kidder" to a male or "Awroight Chuck" to a girl.
