If I could "like" this three times, I would. Excellent video. Well worth the time to watch.

A great wealth of information. I went through all with a lot of enthusiasm. Good for day as well. Thanks a lot.

That was really helpful. Looking forward to implementing a lot of your tips.
I've had so many problems with working collaboratively with the SW Toolbox that I have stopped using the toolbox for hardware like screws and prefer to bring in McMaster parts. But they come in with modeled threads. I was wasting time fixing the models to remove the threads or not doing that and living with the wasteful overhead of the full threads. Your suggestion to just add a simplified Config to the downloaded McMaster parts and then suppress the thread features inside the simplified config in is the way to go. I will be doing that to a half dozen screws tomorrow.

I personally think that if you have enough coin to afford a copy of Solidworks you have the money for a high-end PC to go with it. If not, give up on Solidworks and get a less expensive package. My opinion.

Getting "this can't be played in the background" message.
