  • Dr. Christopher Honey from the University of British Columbia discusses his NSDA-funded research grant investigating the treatment of spasmodic dysphonia with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Used for Parkinson's disease, tremor, and other forms of dystonia, this is the first study specifically for spasmodic dysphonia.
    The National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions through research, education, awareness, and support.
