Dear Chamari, I’m posting as a new comment as I don’t want to post this as a reply to someone else’s comment.
1.try to minimize the usage of wipes, always try to clean the nappy area with running water. Wipes contain chemicals including 99% water based wipes. It’s better if you limit the usage of wipes for outdoors and emergency.
2. According to my personal experience, cot bumpers are very useful. Normally babies start to kick and do their dance at around 4-5 months and bumper prevent them hitting the hard wood. Blankets are essential to keep them warm.
3. Wearing seatbelt is necessary for both you and your baby’s safety.
And Chamari, I know it’s very exciting to shop for babies but make sure you don’t get ripped off. 😘😘
During first couple of months, you will need lots of burp cloths (I personally prefer velona nappies as burp cloths because the absorption is higher than normal flannel or terry mixed burp cloths.)

Shopping for a new born is both exciting and over whelming.
When I was buying stuff for my baby , I too got excited and bought everything which I found cute. Some we couldn't use on him so keeping it safely for his brother or sister 😂
If I may I would like to suggest a few things
1. Buy many baby wipes as possible. Fragrance free baby wipes are best.
2. Pillows blankets and cot bumpers are not required during the first year. But buy lots and lots of cot sheets.
3. A good water proof mattress cover is a life saver.
4. A good solid stand or a table to keep the baby bath. ( I found it difficult to bend during the first few months post c section)
5. Comfy clothes for you ☺️. Blouses With front opening so you can breast feed easily.

Try not to go for expensive baby dresses bcoz newborns grow very quick so the dresses get small really quick. A lot of Nappies and muslins are what is really needed. Also the hospital normally gives a list so better refer it as well.

Hii akki.. I'm also 8 weeks pregnant.. I went for a scan in 45 dys.. Dr said baby very small.. Then i went for nxt scan in 8 weeks( yesterday 12.10.2020) but the length of my baby was 1.32 cm only.. I chked this in youtube but they said 8 weeks baby should b 2.52 cm.. Akki do you know anything about this.. Is this bad to my baby😢.. Also I don't eat anything except string hoppers without any curry.. But whatever i eat i got vomit.. Mrng to night whole day i'm on bed bcz of vomit and can't eat anything..
My 4 qsns:
1- i got 2 scans within 3 months nah is it ok.?
2- my baby's lenth is not enough?
3- i can't be active or happy bcz of wholeday vomit then hw my baby will be active and happy¿

Don't drive as sudden excitements, and facing unnecessary hectic situations when Driving isn't suitable and dont wear seat belts as seat belts some times may cause a small pressure on to the tummy, better to stay in the backseat when travelling during pregnancy.. Said it to make you aware and keep both of you guys safe..😊
There is no problem driving while pregnant and everyone must wear seat belt whether they are pregnant or not.
I just conveyed the advice received to my sister from Doctor in ninewells hospital as she was Ending the second trimester and entering the third one, anyways different doctors give different advices and there is no hard and fast rule on that.
