the reason why comanche was so strong is because the small helis didn't consume alch buff, making a 300 alch act like perma brew on it
Commanche commander was not stronger than that v1 perma-spike.
For context, iirc release perma-spike was like 3x stronger than current while being like 10k cheaper

Agreed. Permaspike was number 1 for a veeeerrrrry long time. There were ridiculous challenges or difficult maps that were only possible with Perma...even after nerfs.
At some point there was a bug where commanche commander benefited a lot from perma brew, like x6 as strong as it should
@@davidpereira5969 a: it had nothing to do with pbrew, it was just abusing old alchemist and comcom mini helis taking alc buffs

Mackenrules, a RUclipsr who made it to round 600+, tested every tower in an ultra late game scenario.
While both the top and bottom path Heli didn't make it into his final setup, the bottom path Heli did double the single target, and multi target damage that the top path did.
In ultra-late game, the only limiting factor is space, so it makes sense that only the best performers would make the cut for such a run
Comanche, Impale, Tack Zone in their peak were pretty cool
Impale only lost lead popping no? Feels weird to be on the same sentence with tz and comcom when both had way more nerfs to them.
@@Idc08-xv7qv Yeah Impale is still incredibly good, you can either just 0-2-4 and MIB it or more realistically 2-0-4 the DDTs.

As a big CHIMPS enjoyer, Geraldo + Comanche is probably my favourite combo in the game. Nothing better than watching the funny shopkeeper man turn this 40k Tier 5 into Goku and having it solo the entire lategame

I understand that the regular alch buffs don't work, but there really is no reason for the perm brew buff to not work.
The whole problem was the mini helis not using up the shots from the alch buff after all, so perm brew really should work.

Would like to see a new run with ALL of these buffs fully capitalised on a VTSG. In the meantime, you could maybe ask the mod creator to add buffs like Cripple MOAB passively in the golden village. How much DPS can a VTSG possibly achieve?

Hi isab. I'm not sure if you've done this already, but maybe you could do this with the ultimate crosspathing mod and see how far each 5-5-5 tower gets, and then possibly superbuff them as well just for the funsies. If you've done this already, I do apologise for my poopy memory

Not so much considering how much dmg these buffs already give. Though I can imagine some interesting result if you include sub paragon to multiply its base damage.

Day 14(yesterday was a typo) of asking for the masterful challenge
Isab can only use monkeys which are the masters of their craft eg
Apex plasma master, top and bottom path ninjas, bloon master alchemist etc. Paragons such as master builder are allowed as well
Extra challenge is that this should be done with the mastery mode mod.
If too difficult minimal farm8ng is allowed.
