Portland, OR here! I’m so excited to have Salt and Straw on my upcoming trip since I rarely make it there anymore. My favorite flavors of all time are Almond Brittle and Salted Ganache and Snickerdoodle! Great review guys!
We like hitting the Salt & Straw when we are in Downtown Disney, but also love the fact there is one about 10-15 minutes from our home in Northern California.
Salt and Straw - one of Portland, Oregon's finest exports! (Glad more people are getting the experience). Beats out our Portland to Universal Studio's export, Voodoo Donuts.: )
Nicely done, guys, thanx. Pricey ice cream, for sure! if I ever get back that way, this would be one my "must try" places in Springs, I'll just bring my highest limit credit card! LOL
I tasted a couple of flavors today. I found the flavors to be very strong. Like, the Honey Lavender was like a mouth of flowers. Although I had my doubts, I opted for a scoop of salted caramel, double malted chocolate chip. Again, very strong and very rich. It may have been due to my lunch at the Boathouse, but I ate very little of it.
Coming down to Disney World in September and had heard about this place. So glad you guys checked it out before I got there - looks like a place I want to go to!
Can’t wait to try this place!! Always knew it from when you guys would proclaim from the rooftops how much you loved the one at Disneyland. Looks like good ice cream!
“Ice cream” indeed, Ryno - I second that. My favorite flavor of ice cream is Oat of This Swirled from Ben and Jerry’s. So sweet and love the texture of that one too! Figured I’d tell you my favorite and start a conversation.
I’m lucky enough that they opened one of these only nine miles away from my home in San Diego in Del Mar, California…COMPLETELY worth the fifteen minute drive! Also, Not ANYWHERE NEAR as tremendously crowded as the one at Downtown Disney
Another food place with a ‘something and something’ name, lol. When summer comes this ice cream will melt before people will even have a chance to get somewhere to sit. Better bring a soup spoon lol.
Love the DIS keep up the good work ! Always happy to see a Cryno review ! A flight of Salt and Straw, YUM ! I am curious about the honey lavender. I almost order it but then get something I know I’ll like. Thanks for the review
We love having a Salt & Straw here in Downtown Disney, CA. 100 times better than Haagen Dazs which used to occupy the space. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

When I lived in San Francisco there was one walking distance, 2 minutes away

My two Portland happy places are both in the Orlando area now. Looks like a larger menu than both Miami shops.
Did they export ridiculous prices as well, or did they come up with those when they got to Florida?
@@chrissygerwitz520 the prices are high but worth it. I went yesterday and loved it. Brought home three pints too.
@@wt7553 Well, more power to you. You just spent $39 plus tax for ice cream.
@@chrissygerwitz520 I sure did. At a place where a family of four pays that much to ride a 5 minute ride.
Great show as always guys !
I think lavender ice cream is underrated. When done correctly, hands down the best.
had their ice cream the first time i ever visited portland (before they had expanded everywhere) - so happy it's close to home now!
3:25 The ice cream has a hidden Mickey on it! Thanks for the explanation on holding the waffle cone, Ryno. I was wondering...lol
This is awesome Craig and Ryno! Been waiting to see a review of Salt and Straw! Thanks very much for this one!
🎉

The lavender ice cream in Diagon Alley just tasted like regular vanilla to me. Glad to hear this one actually tastes floral.
Ooh good to know!

I’m hoping to maybe try this over the summer on our trip in July.
I was looking to try it on my trip next minth, but I don't know that it would stand up to Ghirardelli

It seems absurd that a flight is $14.95 for just four scoops of ice cream in a plastic tray. I like salt and straw, but that’s ridiculous
A single scoop is $6.95 and a double scoop is $9.50. SMH
Cant wait to try
Great review guys! Thank you for sharing!!!

Great job, guys! Always appreciate the candor.
Love u2 together! More please!
Yum yum yum 😋
Definitely looking forward to trying it out. Gotta do the flight so you can try a bunch of different flavors at one time! -S
Fantastic!
Have a strawberry honey balsamic & black pepper for me - my favorite flavor at Salt n Straw
Love you guys...but why doesn't your description show the flavors you tried??
I was excited to try this on my trip next month, but I don't know how it would stand up to Ghirardelli.
$15 bucks for the flight? Yeesh

Feel like I definitely need to try the olive oil flavor…
Thanks guys! Looks so good! Also, Ryno, what is the bag you're wearing? I want one like that and I love yours!
Ryno….LOVE your haircut!! You look soooooo Handsome (though you always do!!)
Love the Hadestown shirt, Craig!
Why would you put them in the blazing sun?!
Love the DIS keep up the good work !
Always happy to see a Cryno review !

Thanks for the review
Do they take Disney gift cards? Best question ever.
You said in the video you would add it items were vegan(dairy free) did you and I just missed it??
Great review! ❤
Yay! It’s Ryno and Craig! Let’s see if the guys really love this place! Ice cream 🍦😜🍦
$14.75 plus tax for 4 scoops of ice cream.
Great review can't wait to try love your cut rhyno
I prefer Molly Moons
After working in the salt and straw kitchens, i will never eat their products again.
Ryno,
A Whiff of Waffle Cone Eau de Parfum by Imaginary Authors.
Great review Greg and Ryno! Going to Disneyland soon so hope they have the flights too as I can never decide on just two!🤣

Ridiculous flavors, obnoxious pricing, and charging extra to get two different flavors in a cup? I'll be passing on this hipster trash.
And they didn’t even get a seat
I hate snickerdoodles precisely because they are the most boring cookie, I can't imagine the ice cream would be any better.
Are we shooting this video on a iPhone awful wind noise let’s step it up, maybe buy a camera with a nice microphone
It’s shot with a Sony A7S3 with a mic. Normally we control the weather but today we said screw it, make it windy.
@@DisneyDining buy a better mic
@@DisneyDining - personally I kind of liked hearing the wind Craig. We don’t get good windy days often enough here in FL.
You're rude.
@@Makeupyourworld629 I know right the quality is very rude
