As far as I know, the United States does not export, nor does it allow allied countries to export cars to Cuba, because they blocked them. That's why their cars are old.

Yes i have been to Cuba 19 times AND I LOVE IT i consider it my second home.I love the food the people and especially the beaches.I spend all my time in Varadero but i have travelled to Havana many times by car.I haven,t been there for a few years and i did missed it terribly.Of course a vacation there again is in the cards.I have many many good friends there and i missed them.They are very good people and i always enjoy their company and there hospitality.

I have been to Havana 3 times and it is definitely my happy place. Thank you for showcasing my wonderful Havana. I have wonderful friends in Havana, the people are generally fun loving and friendly. I wish I could go back constantly but my health has declined and it doesn't seem like a possibility. But I have the most wonderful memories of this amazing city.

You asked if we would like to visit Cuba. For sure I would. I especially would like to go to a Cuban dance school to learn casino style salsa. This is an integral part of the DCuban culture and it costs very little to teach people how to dance Cuban style. It is also a great way to export that part of Cuban culture.
All the good dance teachers are in Miami, Florida.
You then should live like the cubans, litle food, no car, no travelling abrod... they must be dancing scools in the us!?

13:04 i was in Havana in mid july 2023. I ate at Los Nardos (near Parque Central) for about 6 dollars, beer and water included. La Abadia (in Malecon) maybe little bit expensive but place has a great view.

I've been to Cuba a few times. The people seem very genuine and I felt very safe there.Their are alot of places that seem old and run down but their also places that are more modern and kept up very nice.Looking forward to go back there again.

Went to Cuba at Christmas time 2017. THE nicest people we've ever met! Would like to go back. I wish it were easier to go there from the US. I wish our governments could get along. People to people, instead having some many rules or hoops we have to go though.

Here in Brazil at Dilma Rousseff ex-president left government, a lot of cubans "medicians" has worked here from a medical parnerhip between Brazil and Cuba government, called "plus medicians". Where the medicians cannot live here with their parents or familly from a cuban dictator restriction, and the majoritary amount of their salary payment has sent to cuban dictator. Today, the left is back to the power with Lula and is increasing the relations with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicarágua and other countries where the people is poor, the government is corrupt, and the people hasn't freedom.

I went 14 years ago and stayed in a Varadero resort. Food not great so ate omelet or eggs and toast for breakfast, grilled fish every day for dinner, and ham sandwich for lunch or snacks. Small amount of fruit. Imagine what it’s like today. Beach and people are amazing. Broke my heart to see the rundown buildings in Havana, which at one time were beautiful, falling apart, but they don’t have the material to repair them. 😥
Прочла несколько комментариев и пришла в ужас.Такое впечатление,что люди не понимают,это не музей,не шоу.Это реально тяжёлая жизнь кубинцев.Обшарпанные дома,древние автомобили,очереди за продуктами.Это мы,сидя дома,при желании можем подойти к холодильнику и взять что хотим.Закончились яйца или молоко,сбегать в супермаркет.На Кубе этот фокус не пройдёт.Им надо исхитриться ДОСТАТЬ продукты.А как жить в таких домах,которые того и гляди рухнут.Когда наконец кубинцы смогут жить нормально?От кого это зависит?

Love Cuba The best people you’ll find anywhere. The sand and water is beautiful
My son-in-law is in professional baseball and went to Cuba for four days to play an exhibition game. He is from Puerto Rico and within 24 hours found local bands to play with.. There are videos of him, playing the congas all over Cuba with people dancing around him. He loved it although he did say that so much of the infrastructure is crumbling.
Havana and Cuba, very interesting and unique cities and countries, I kind of go back in time when looking at the atmosphere of the city and all the infra structures inside, full of old and classic buildings! The residents are so cheerful and so enjoying their lifestyle, I make sure that one day I will be there and I will immediately put it on my tour list one day! Thank you 🙏

"Cheerful and so enjoying their lifestyle," I didn't see any of that in the video. The folks waiting in those long lines for up to five hours looked downtrodden, oppressed & eager to catch a boat to Florida (as many do) to escape their situation.

'enjoying their lifestyle" ? You have b@llz the size of canteloupes! Millions of cubans have left the island on rafts and floating inner tubes from truck tires. How can you say they are "enjoying their lifestyle" ? Please do, visit them for 6 months or even better a couple of years, so you can enjoy the lifestyle as well.
Great video, it reminds me of a wonderful holiday I had there around 25 years ago, nothing's changed by the looks of it. People are great, food simple but tasty, one memorable taxi was in a 1921 Ford model T, which we the passengers had to push start to get it going as the starter motor didn't work, great fun and experience. Lovely!
