I agree 100%. You don't have to have a super-crazy soap with a million colors for it to be considered a good bar of soap. Simple bar with quality ingredients? Sign me up! Thank you so much for watching! 💖
Love it! I do natural soaps most of the time.I don't let the lye burn my milk though. I use bubble wrap for my honey comb pattern too. 😁I don't sell them, but, I will tell you, the naturals are the first to go where I give them away. 😁
I do a lot of soaps with a bunch of bright colors and crazy patterns, but sometimes, a nice simple soap is the way to go. (And, I agree, bubble wrap for the honey comb pattern works FANTASTICALLY!) Thanks for watching! 💖
Hi Sarah. New to soaping.... just wish you could be persuaded to give us newbies the leg up and confidence to by sharing the recipe. Adding fresh milk and sugar would give me nightmares without help of knowing the amounts 🤣🤣🤣😱😱😱🙏
Hey Sarah! Long time no see girlie!! Sounds like you have been a busy bee too! Lol ; ) These are gorgeous bars of soap, I love the bubble wrap trick! It was cool to see the soap color morph right in front of our eyes. I bet they smell amazing too! Yummy... nothing like honey! : ) Next we need to see some soapy cupcakes or cakes etc with the awesome sprinkles ya got a lil while back. Wink wink! I still haven't got any yet but working on it! ; ) Have a nice afternoon...Hugs from Texas!! xxxx : )
"Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication", Leonardo da Vinci. l really like this soap. Turned out so well :) l love the song. What is the name of it?
Yeah! You're back! I was watching some of your videos yesterday - trying to find the stainless steel Mr Coffee frothing pot for lye that you liked in one of your videos. Did you order it online?
Hi Cindy! I did order it online from Amazon. However, when I went back to check just now, it seems like they're no longer selling them. I did, however, also purchase some stainless steel pitchers from Amazon that you can find in my Amazon link in the video description. I use them for mixing lye solution as well and they are fantastic! 💖
Yup! NashipurSinha said it. I melted the beeswax in with the rest of my hard oils and added them all at once. I like to stick around a 1-2% usage rate for beeswax. (1-2% of oil weight, that is.) Thank you so much for watching!
Lovely soaps. Thanks for sharing Sarah! Was it hard to pull off the bubble wrap after the cure? When adding the milk whether goat’s or almond or coconut, do you discount it from the water amount? At What part of the process do you add the beeswax? I, Vegan, can I use Candelilla Wax? Thanks for sharing this video, it was very inspiring, hence my questions.
Thank you, Angella! I pull the bubble wrap off the top of the soap after about 48 hours in the mold. It just peels right off. (And it's actually a lot of fun, I have to admit. Lol!) Whenever I add any kind of milk, I usually discount it from the total water amount. The beeswax is added into the hard oils and they are all melted down together and poured into the liquid oils before you add your lye solution. As far as candelilla wax, I've never used it in soap, but have in lip balms and lotion bars. I have, however, heard of people using it in soap and liking it. Just check the SAP value and adjust your recipe accordingly. Have fun soaping! 💖
Thank you, meadowyck! The song is called, "Gonna Let the Sunshine in Today" by "Loving Caliber". It seemed to fit with a laid back and sunny soap, I thought. Thanks for watching! 😀
Sara, I have not tried honey in my soaps yet. Did you add something to the honey to make it more liquidy? It looked like it poured so easily out of the cup. Love your videos!!!!!
Hi Michael! You don't need a lot of beeswax for it to be effective in soap. About 1-2% of your oil total should work fine. (I like to use about 1%.) Thanks for watching!

Some of the most simple soaps are packed with the best ingredients. Great job!

I've always wondered about using beeswax in soap! Yours turned out so beautifully!
Thank you so much! And beeswax is amazing in soap. Try using it at 1-2% of your oil weight and you'll fall in love with it. 😀
Looking good, love to use milk & honey, such simple luxury. Very nicely done
Thank you so much, Soap Oaks Farm! 💖
Beautiful!

Thanks!
DId I miss something? I didn't see the beeswax. Did you add it with the honey? It looks wonderful. Great job!
The beeswax needs to be melted at high temperature so it would have been added to the oils.
Yup! NashipurSinha said it. I melted the beeswax in with the rest of my hard oils and added them all at once. I like to stick around a 1-2% usage rate for beeswax. (1-2% of oil weight, that is.) Thank you so much for watching!
Does it works like the sopas we buy from shops? And wt makes the soap fomy?
