Sounds like some you have plenty of little projects to be getting on with in the next couple of weeks. That skid sounds like a good idea,I would like to see how that works out compared to what you do now. Waiting to see what happens when you start cracking be on with new tanks. Catch ya next episode. Cheers.

Do the cooling plates on the new tanks have an internal maze or does the coolant just free-flow through them, utilizing the dimples to create turbulence?

It is all about the dimples it would seem.

Hopefully not a daft question but does a 1" camlock type E (male to hose adapter) fit into a 1/2" camlock type C? I can understand if the bigger 2"+ camlocks wouldn't but just bought this pump and all of my fittings are for 1/2" camlocks.
    Cheers!

No they wont fit. I just fit reducing bushes in the pump to take it down to the size I need.

Isn’t yellow tape for gasses and white tape for liquids?

For the most part, you do seem like quite a worldly gentleman, that said when you are not sure where Tarzan comes from, I do need to question your credibility.....from my experience tho7gh Chris, old kegs such as those you proposed to use in your pilot system cannot be beaten in terms of strength and build quality- I would convert and use them every time if they provided the required quantity - they will be far more superior than any other tank you buy. That said, a person would need to know how to cut and weld stainless, but this obviously a skill that you have mastered. My vote is to utilise the old casks if they appear pleasant to you visually and if they meet your requirements in regards to volume for a pilot batch - usually 40ltr is sufficient.
