Yeah, the books and the movies were part of my childhood. The books came out in middle school and you'd see students reading them during their lunch breaks and brought them to summer camps to read during lunch too, and talked about how they read one whole volume in one single day and they were LONG books. Wasn't a superfan, but I did enjoy the books and the movies. Very close in age with the real three main actors, so I feel like I actually grew up WITH them. I have honestly no idea what J.K. Rolling did, though. Idk. It might put it into better context if I knew WHAT it was she did wrong. I mean, I'm sure a lot of people defend her because she was part of our lives and childhoods with the books and movies, and I don't see anything wrong with that, but again I don't know what it is she did wrong.
@@VerbalDroppings, ok, so, not sure exactly how to feel about that. Well, it’s a big choice and big operation to change your gender, so most people don’t. The ones who feel so strongly connected with the opposite gender get the surgery and change their gender. Maybe the males who change into females still have some male masculinity that gives them an advantage, sure, but I think they’re allowed because it’s such a less common and such a life altering thing to change your gender, so you’re not going to see very many trans people joining women’s sports teams because of the small number of trans people and the fact that not every trans person wants to be an athlete.
I watched the Potter movies and I thought they were really good. I especially liked Luna's character. Always talking about her weird Nargles conspiracy theories.
I think people shouldn’t hate for defending someone even if that person did something wrong I have no idea what she did but again we are just humans we can’t be perfect

She spoke up against biological males competing in women’s sports saying it was unfair for feminists and against feminism in general
