I miss these imports so much they cost 200-250 bucks new. The best part was that the 74's, 47's, 223's Russian Hunters are the only ever imported in new to America with fully automatic trip sear ready bolt carriers. Those sneaky Russians used the bolt carrier trip to retain the bolt hold open so they could avoid any more unnecessary neutering for mass export to America for domestic civilian sales. They imported a few million of them, but the model to get is a Legion Izhevsk, which has Mil-spec dimpled magwell (the saiga model in the video is missing this). Imported by "Mercury Hermes, I.OU KY" . Everyone making jokes about how he is using the middle finger, us old "fuds" use the middle finger for slow motion, the index finger is for five hundredths of a second shot splits with semi-automatic.
I know this was a year ago, buuut I don't get why you wouldn't be able tooo?!?!? Like do you go to liberal gun ranges or something, "high power Nerf guns only boiiiss"
They are AK 47"s, they are just not converted yet (remember only 10 foreign parts allowed for 922compliance laws), because they have to be imported that way, to get them in the country for domestic sales.
I love my Saiga
I think I heard an m1 garand

Wow these are awesome rifles, how much do they currently go for and where could you find one?
Does anyone know if these are still California legal as of May 2018? Do the need to be modded (the mag release)?
I believe they are banned by name, same as the norinco hunters

Yes, they are Ca legal. If it’s in its original sporter configuration.
Yes it's completely legal and falls into all the new laws saw one at my local gun store
It must be banned by Make AND Model. Only Kalashnikov Saigas are banned. Not Izmash or EAA, etc.
You were firing with your middle finger
Just picked one up for $550 😁
