Pfft! I bought a new cutter and got 1 hole in low carbon steel and it was stuffed. It was $100 cheaper than the rest. I'm a hobbiest so price matters, these things don't make me money. They are a 100% loss. Can the annular cutters with the carbide teeth be re ground? Im thinking they look easier to grind than the tool steel profiles. You in perth?
Hello to you. Cheap cutters arn't much chop. Speed is often the killer as they are HSS. 25mm cutter and 500 rpm with cooant. I'm Brisbane based. Regards BC
Annular cutters , hollow mills , other names . I sharpened thousands during my 31 year tool grinding career
Top job
