Just some advice, for next time try to compare a laptop with a laptop or a desktop with a desktop to make a more fair comparison. Also in the desktop price you should include the screen, keyboard and mouse since they are essential for using the desktop.
The comparison of a MacBook and a Custom Built PC isn’t an ideal one. Plus both systems had files on them, so if you want to run a performance test on both, you’d need to format both of them and install the same software on both of them to get an accurate result. The Mac has its pros/cons and the PC has its own too. I used to think the PC was 100% better but after I started using a MacBook Pro that wasn’t even the latest or the highest spec I knew it was a good computer. And mind you I have a High-Performance Gaming Laptop, Asus ROG G15 to be precise, so I have a good idea of what performance on Windows is like. So both the PC and MacBook are in a league of their own and should be equally respected and the argument of no games on the Mac would soon be a thing of the past because Apple is actively working on bringing high-performance games to their platform gradually.
so bad comparison, if compare take atleast mac and same spec laptop not pc.. , 2 gens older cpu in macbook, also even kids know that pc hardware have more power than laptops/macbooks lol :D customer support its not entry to use for comparison, apple have branches around the world, not only in CA , what about your custom pc? never heard about it before...

I think you should have compared using the Apple M1, M2 processors instead
