Beautiful video!!! Thank you so much for all the love and respect for Brazil, for our culture, and for Senna. He was not just an idol of the sport for us, he was a great and admirable human being, he was a great source of pride for us Brazilians in very difficult times here in Brazil, football was also not bringing many joys at the time, we were champions world championships again right after Senna died. For me and many people in Brazil, he brings beautiful memories of family Sundays watching and cheering for Senna, even as a child when the races passed at dawn my brothers and I asked our parents to wake us up so we could watch all together. It is always with great emotion that we remember Senna.

Janaina! After a tough day, you just put a huge smile on my face 😃. You just described EXACTLY why I wanted to make this video and honestly, you have brought a tear to my eye!
Your memory of waking up early is amazing. I used to do the same, particularly with races in Japan and Australia. Of course Brazil was always a nice Sunday evening habit watching from the UK!
The admirable human being point. YES! So many people used to see him as a villain. We can be ruthless in competition yet giving in life.
      LOVE this!!

I became an F1 fan because of Airton Senna. I remember to this day, watching with my father when I saw his car crash in Italy, and we were waiting for him to leave the car, as usual... and time passed and he didn't get up. It felt like an eternity, a really sad eternity. Thank you so much for sharing his history with the world in this video, I think all Brazilian fans of this legend that was Airton Sena are really grateful. He was a master in Monaco, an expert in showing Brazilians that being a patriot was part of his goal. Really emotional. 😞

Senna's "S" was designed with huge inputs by Senna himself and was know by this name since was it build.
The old circuit was not a oval. What you saw is part of the 2 long straights that led to the middle twisty part (that's almost the same, but run in the opposite direction).

Hello, David, the most striking memory I have of Senna was when he was not yet the great champion. He raced in a small team, Toleman, in 1984. At the Monaco GP, it was raining a lot and Senna was fantastic, he came out from behind and passed one by one. He was approaching Prost, who was the first, very fast. Then, on the lap in which he was sure to overtake, they interrupted the race and ended the race. Prost took first and Senna second. But they were only worth half the points. The winner, who would earn 9 points, was left with 4.5. If the race was not stopped, and Prost came in second, he would take 6 points. In the end, he lost the championship by half a point, to Niki Lauda. All Brazilians celebrated. There arose the great rivalry. Congratulations on the channel, I found it today.

"Cossina"?! Yes, I understand that Portuguese sounds tricky to most foreigners, but here comes a tip for the correct pronunciation of the name of our national treasure: ko - shee - gna (the same sound of "gn" you hear in the French word "champagne" or the Italian "lasagna", for instance). Greetings from São Paulo!

Thanks for the guidance, I did a pronunciation course before getting here which has partially helped lose my Portuñol jaja
