So glad to see you again, Cap't. Steve. I especially enjoy the geo-historical background with which you enhance your fine videos. Looking forward to the next part. Thank you for your generosity.
I'm 64, been sailing most of my life and I can't remember the last time we had a season this windy, I have sailed a lot, but it has been challenging at times!
Happy memories of that area. I spent a Winter between foreign voyages in my cruising boat, living aboard on a river mooring buoy at Weir Quay. I did a fair bit of exploring in the inflatable when the weather was fine. Nice video, Steve. 👍
Yeah first boat I've ever built so lots of learning and plenty of mistakes. But she sails well despite having an idiot skipper and builder 😆 and yes Plymouth is an amazing sailing destination. I'm very lucky I know
Hi Steve very well in fact I'm in the U.K. at the moment but going back at the weekend. A tight schedule otherwise I would have joined you in the West country for a little sail on Arwen and a few beers, cheers Paul@@plymouthwelshboy
Well as a poor sailor with limited sailing skills I have to admit I was perplexed over the anchoring issue which crops up in the next episode. You both well? Also can I ask a daft question...did you used to do lots of canoeing or kayaking or did I imagine you saying that to me one time?

Hopefully out on the water within the fortnight all being well
Great to be seeing your sailing videos again!
Thank you. Good to be back

It has been a funny old year I must admit. I've struggled a bit this year with my sailing to be sure

Thanks John. I am lucky to have such great sailing waters
Didn't realise you had built your boat. Plymouth is lovely. Spent a week there in the summer doing my day skipper practical course.

@@plymouthwelshboy there is a better anchoring spot near where I think you were. Will PM in a moment...just uploading
@@plymouthwelshboy yes, was a sea kayaker and an old style canoe coach before the BCU went all 'sport' on us
