You may have previously mentioned this but people get caught out a lot. When using an ATM it will dispense the cash before returning the card. Which is different to other countries where you get the card first. I’ve seen people walk off with their money and realise, too late the card is hopefully still in the machine.
I first went to Pattaya in 2007. My then GF met me at the airport and we got a ride into Pattaya and straight to Soi 7. It was like something I had never experienced in my life and it was packed.

First trip to Pattaya was a couple of weeks ago. My advice: Bring your most comfortable walking shoes/sandals. Walking up and down the Sois in that heat and humidity will quickly blister your feet. You'll be walking more than you might expect despite the availability of baht buses or moto taxis.
Regarding the baht buses, don't get on the empty ones that are parked on the side of the road. It will be a private ride and can cost you a couple hundred baht

Post #2 All really good tips on being respectful, Trev. I found Thai people really appreciate it when you stop for the national anthem. trev ,whenever i eat thai food in pattaya ,the lady serving will ask me do you want spicey , i always reply falang spice please ,so they only put a little bit in , always tastes fantastic....
I believe the 'don't touch a person on the head' is mostly a myth these days. I haven't met a single girl who I couldn't touch on the head and when I asked about it they told me it's mostly about not doing it to people of higher status like your elder etc.
All great advice. I will add one more: Never disrespect or make fun of the Royal Family. In Thailand is a serious offence according to article 112 ( lese majeste law) of Thai criminal law. It is illegal to defame, insult or threaten the Monarchy. Doing so could create very serious problems for you and definitely could ruin your holidays in the worst possible way.
The one thing that you cannot control is the heat .There have been soo many times that i have gone walkabout in pattaya and ended up having to retreat back to my room to recover from the heat .You are better to stay up late and get up late to avoid the heat .
In the heat, always wear a broad rimmed hat to protect your head and neck and drink small sips of water rather than large amounts, which will just go straight through you. Rehydrate with Powerade type drinks but make sure they’re low sugar and have a good time. Oh yeah
My first surprise is I didn't take well to Thai food, especially after all the hype. The smells to me initially was an onslaught of villainous compounds most offensive. to the nostrils. It only lasted a few days and improved in Chiang Mai. Several trips later, you become immune from the smells and actually welcome the some remaining stenches 😀 As anywhere, keep your guard up and do some research. I'll be in Thailand for Songkran ( Chiang Mai ) and know what to expect. After Thailand I'm doing due diligence researching Egypt which we'll do on return home. Same rule applies there as it could get sketchy with the touts. Nothing is like experiencing a country for the first time, much better if you research and learn things to avoid, as well as enhancing the significance and history of the local marvels. ...... When it comes to Pattaya from what I seen, it's a fuck trip certain dudes handicapped at home plan for. You can help but notice Pattaya is a dumpster for a good percentage of male folk - it just undeniably is with no doubt.
@@Buzzinpattaya We had bodgey watch sellers in Sydney during the 70s and 80s. The urban myth was that the watches they sold had bamboo springs, which didn't last long.
Do not go to the beach here after a long night getting hammered, we had 3 guys off the Midway battle group, in the hospital because of sunburns after passing out drunk on the beach and sleeping through til noon.
Hi Trev, you forgot to mention about being very respectful to the Royal family. DO NOT DISRESPECT THE ROYAL FAMILY especially HIS MAJESTY THE KING. Otherwise you could be in a world of trouble.
HAVE U THOUGHT OF SHIFT FROM THAILAND TO VIETNAM ? THINGS ARE CHEAPER THAN THAI. PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY IN VIETNAM NOWADAYS THEY ARE MORE OPEN TO TOURIST。 NICE FOOD BEAUTIFUL VIETNAM LADY❣️
You should have expanded on nightlife and the lovely Thai ladies that greet you in the streets.... especially Soi 6. Can they be aggressive (touchy/fealy)? What should you expect if you allow a beauty to pull you into a bar? Is there a big difference between women who want to spend time with you from a bar, gogo, or gents club? Will the NewB get shocked by what may happen to him if he gets put into a VIP booth and the girl pulls the curtains closed?
Regarding Soi 6.... Before heading out to Pattaya for the first time I watched countless videos from different people. Trev's stuff, Dave Strachan, Daz at Everything Pattaya. Most covered Soi 6, Dave does regular videos as he goes down there. Nothing prepared me for actually walking down there myself. The girls are *very* touchy feely, zero boundaries. I had a couple slip their hands down my shorts and try pulling me into their bars in a most intimate way. Others simply grab your arm and try dragging you in. What shocked me is their strength too. I'm a big dude and being pulled bodily by a 90lb, 5'2 bar girl was something I was not expecting at all lol Imagine being the worlds most infamous rockstar and you're trying to get from one end of a long road to the other, but that road is lined by ravenous, besotted groupies. That's Soi 6.
One of the things that surprised me is the double standard, you can't do things to Thai people as they will lose face, but they can turn around and do the exact same thing to you and it is the norm.
Thai food, I can take the curries and noodle soups etcetera, but the tad pies or whatever they are called I don't eat. I do like the liquid you get in noodles and the like, very tasty and spicy. I also don't like seafood, so avoid those.
Trevor I notice your walking. So obviously you may have thus as an interest. Using AI technology from radio shaq and creating a logarithm using all the information I've gathered from these podcasts, I can predict you'll be walking about in a few dazzles, 40 minute cardio session... I know you want it. On the howzer!

Back on my first visit in 1995 72 baht to the uk pounds you could live like a king on a 1 thousand u k pounds for 3 weeks and come home 🏠🏠🏠 with money left over
What to expect when you come to Thailand? You will almost certainly face accusations of being a sex tourist etc ! Don't listen to the nonsence about how much money do you need etc etc! You need a reasonable amount of money to come here with in case of unforeseen circumstances! Food is cheap but don't budget on living on 100bht a day if you don't eat street food! Also if you meet someone and you visit the village be very careful when they hit the rice Whiskey! I've seen all sorts of carnage caused by this and remember if you are having to deal with a machete weilding non English speaking paraletic drunk you will probably be alone and in trouble!

I believe the 'don't touch a person on the head' is mostly a myth these days. I haven't met a single girl who I couldn't touch on the head and when I asked about it they told me it's mostly about not doing it to people of higher status like your elder etc.
Exactly. And no one stands up during the anthem in the cinema anymore. Times are changing.
Harassment
Harassment it's only going to look badly on the bold
What about touching someone on the head as a sign of endearment should there be a rule enforced champ?
The anthem. Stand to it while you shit on everything the actual constitution stands for. Move to Nicaragua will ya.
So so true mate
What was the name of that place you mentioned after Koh Samui and Koh Chang? Is it Koh Kood? And what's the best way to get there?
Koh Kood, minibus from Pattaya
Thank you. Also, thanks for the valuable advice in general in this video.@@Buzzinpattaya
where you get 42 from.
what do you mean
The one thing that you cannot control is the heat .There have been soo many times that i have gone walkabout in pattaya and ended up having to retreat back to my room to recover from the heat .You are better to stay up late and get up late to avoid the heat .
Early morning walking is the best 🙏
Sometimes it's hard in the heat
In the heat, always wear a broad rimmed hat to protect your head and neck and drink small sips of water rather than large amounts, which will just go straight through you. Rehydrate with Powerade type drinks but make sure they’re low sugar and have a good time. Oh yeah
Trevor, some of us are corrupt but we believe we can be heroes
lol
Pork lion chops vest on the golden mile, but whose got them there? Information requirements.
Many western restaurants here
My first surprise is I didn't take well to Thai food, especially after all the hype.
That's a real shame mate
What is the shop called thst does IT repairs ?
Mr Kong TukCom
Does Mr Jacks have good quality replica watches, or all real?
My son bought a "Rolex" from a street vendor and it stopped working as he rode away.
Both mate, his replicas are very hard to tell, been here years
@@Buzzinpattaya We had bodgey watch sellers in Sydney during the 70s and 80s. The urban myth was that the watches they sold had bamboo springs, which didn't last long.
Nice.
Cheers
Do not go to the beach here after a long night getting hammered, we had 3 guys off the Midway battle group, in the hospital because of sunburns after passing out drunk on the beach and sleeping through til noon.
Sorry that happened
plus they can be punished for destruction of government property lol

Lol
What about the Fanny?
How's yours going dude. Impeccable. Enjoying tik tok
Get in the bars, mate!
Lol
the worst thing about going to thailand is trying to work out how to move there when you go back home
Hahaha so true
Hi Trev, you forgot to mention about being very respectful to the Royal family. DO NOT DISRESPECT THE ROYAL FAMILY especially HIS MAJESTY THE KING.
Otherwise you could be in a world of trouble.
Good point
I am interested in trying thai food, but I'm not eating any deep fried bugs. Sorry just can't do it.
Lol no worries
Great on toast for breakfast.
Great vlog ✅
thank you so much
Anywhere to go for a good Kabab Trevor

HAVE U THOUGHT OF SHIFT FROM THAILAND TO VIETNAM ? THINGS ARE CHEAPER THAN THAI. PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY IN VIETNAM NOWADAYS THEY ARE MORE OPEN TO TOURIST。 NICE FOOD BEAUTIFUL VIETNAM LADY❣️
Sounds syriaous but you'll idlib
Yeah mate heaps of ex pats there... sort of
But what about Thailand dude. Is that different. Or is Vietnam more cool because of rambo
We're you in Vietnam dude
The Lotto worth looking into there
You should have expanded on nightlife and the lovely Thai ladies that greet you in the streets.... especially Soi 6.
As much as I would love to on here is very restricted
Regarding Soi 6.... Before heading out to Pattaya for the first time I watched countless videos from different people. Trev's stuff, Dave Strachan, Daz at Everything Pattaya. Most covered Soi 6, Dave does regular videos as he goes down there. Nothing prepared me for actually walking down there myself. The girls are *very* touchy feely, zero boundaries. I had a couple slip their hands down my shorts and try pulling me into their bars in a most intimate way. Others simply grab your arm and try dragging you in. What shocked me is their strength too. I'm a big dude and being pulled bodily by a 90lb, 5'2 bar girl was something I was not expecting at all lol
Imagine being the worlds most infamous rockstar and you're trying to get from one end of a long road to the other, but that road is lined by ravenous, besotted groupies. That's Soi 6.
A lot less comments thrse days.
Low season now. The sois are getting noticeably more quiet.
Yeah I can't please everyone mate
One of the things that surprised me is the double standard, you can't do things to Thai people as they will lose face, but they can turn around and do the exact same thing to you and it is the norm.
Haha yeah I get ya mate
Jeez, a lot of marijuana places struggling these days. Any ideas?
I think it's not so bad but they seem cheerio
Pot is a turn off for most women, unless...
No idea
7/11 can be a lifesaver! Activated Charcoal tablets for Diarrhoea and Electrolytes for lethargy & headaches.
Those tablets they make it worse
so true mate
Thai food, I can take the curries and noodle soups etcetera, but the tad pies or whatever they are called I don't eat. I do like the liquid you get in noodles and the like, very tasty and spicy. I also don't like seafood, so avoid those.
Fair enough mate at least ya trying stuff out
👍🏼🍻🇦🇺 I chose the Tuesday podium challenge on Buzzin !
Smashed it mate BOSH!
@@Buzzinpattaya Cheers Trev mate 👍🏼🍻🇦🇺
Trevor I notice your walking. So obviously you may have thus as an interest. Using AI technology from radio shaq and creating a logarithm using all the information I've gathered from these podcasts, I can predict you'll be walking about in a few dazzles, 40 minute cardio session... I know you want it. On the howzer!
I need to google what you mean now lol
21 year old current serving patrol man from Melbourne. Must say pattaya very friendly to the gay and straight boys in blue!

Am I guilty of mongering. 9. Am I a butterfly when it comes to the prettiest ladies in Town. 9. Being one of the best international personal trainer & stuntman, I have an empty trophy room at home, but I have a lot of pictures on photo slop.
haha all good mate
You look a bit tired Oppo.
?
How do you know what I look like?
Thanks
I would rather eat the street food in Thailand than the stuff they serve up in restaurants in the Uk.You don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen
Love Thai food
Back on my first visit in 1995 72 baht to the uk pounds you could live like a king on a 1 thousand u k pounds for 3 weeks and come home 🏠🏠🏠 with money left over
Wow
Trevor my girlfriend is wondering if she could come in a get some work at the bar.
sure, email me
Strange, when I'm walking with my thai girlfriend, she's just recently taking my hand and putting it on top of her head.
That's weird and very strange
@@Buzzinpattaya yes it is. Maybe she's getting westernized a little bit?
GOVT CORRUPTION PRACTICE ARE COMMON IN VIETNAM。
WHO TOLD YOU YOUR FATHER(?)
What's this all about. Canaries?
Okay
Indeed
DO U DO FACIAL CLEANING ON YOUR FACE THAILAND ROAD ARE VERY DUSTY。
I shower 2 times a day
Sex drugs and rock and roll. Then go home with a empty wallet.
Go for it
