In Anglosphere countries a guy (or a girl, for that matter) caring about something like that is usually considered pathetic and creepy, but in Japan it ties into familial honor and reputation, which they take very seriously. Gura and her peers are English streamers so it's doubtful any of her fans would care, but in Japan an idol can't marry or even date until they retire. It would cause a huge scandal otherwise.
