Thanks again for the motovlogs. I've watched all them, some a few times, to help and learn about the area. Plus they are fun and entertaining (I ride a klr650 in North Carolina USA) with your interesting commentary. Namaste.
This is serious fun stuff Bennie! Subscribed to your channel and shall watch the other parts too! My friend and I are actually considering doing these routes in Nepal so its great for us to see what to expect. :-)
I'm wearing a Kriega R25 back pack. They're designed for this sort of riding, so carry most of the weight around the hips. Really comfy and it doesn't restrict my movement on the bike Tbh, if i'd taken a Honda CRF250L or any other bike, then I probably would use my 10lt tail pack, but i'd probably still use my back pack also. We traveled pretty light anyway. I was only carrying about 4kgs
grt vdo bro.... the cross fire must be fun to ride... i had been to mustang on my yamaha r15... bt cudnt go to upper mustang... made couple of vdos abt mustang... chkit out sumtimes... :)
Tbh, on the hard packed trails, they would probably be OK, although I would be worried about punctures with the motard tyres. The harder suspension and longer gearing of the motard would probably be more of an issue.
bibek karmacharya We didn't carry any. We filled up at Besisahar and then found another 5-6 litres from a shop keeper when we got to Pisang in Upper Manang. I used a lot more fuel than my friend. Maybe because I was a lot heavier than him, but also because I was a bit heavy handed with the throttle! 😉
I enjoyed watching your video not flashy editing just raw natural footages and thanks for promoting Nepal through your motovlogs.
Thanks. I'm pretty lazy with my editing tbh. Love making bike vids in Nepal ;)
Bennie Hitchcock i

Why not use a baggare roll the size of a backpack and strap it on the back of the bike?

Would you mind giving the right of the way to pedestrians? Please..
Just as an afterthought, you ought to be sponsored by National Geographic.
