And the goal is NOT to treat children like animals but use the understanding of animal behavior to understand Autistic behavior because they share a similar way of thinking...sensory thinking and literal thinking, but it doesn't mean Autistic individuals are animals. This movie is a depiction of her life based on HER books. You'd probably get more accurate information by READING them
