I feel you about getting distracted by stuff going on in the world; It’s really hard for me to work when I’m feeling cynical. Personally, my favorite thing to do when I feel that way is to go pick up my little brother and take him out to get something he likes. I think it helps because he’s such a positive and thoughtful person and it rubs off on me, and also he is always so grateful for any little thing I do for him. I think everyone loves to feel appreciated :) Also, I find your videos really inspiring because they come across as so authentic. You didn’t leave out details about things that didn’t go as planned, and included things that were important to you, like spotting a bunny. I really appreciate the videos
Just found your channel recently. I decided to stop my fulltime career for a while for my son. And Covid19 happened. Your channel inspired me to think about my past design career. I gradually warmup my art journey with daily practices. Thank you so much from Vietnam 🇻🇳
Thank you so much for this video! Your content keeps me inspired to do the same. I'm so glad your Patreon thing is happening now! Would definitely love to see more of these "How To: Navigate through different apps/sites/programs" especially for a small-time budding artist like myself :) Keep safe, and I hope the little bunnies and calves come out to play more often at your side of the farm!
How lucky to live in Tasmania! I always wanted to visit there and bring home a tassy devil! We moved to the country too and never looked back. I have my own art room now and we are a 1/2 mile away from a local river. I get to see bunnies, bald eagles, fishes, cranes and see the local horses and cows. We also have our own garden! Enjoy!
I envy you beautiful countryside. What a calming vlog. And yes, I'd love to listen to more design-y topics as I always struggle with product images prep.
Thanks for this video! So much work you both put in there, it's really interesting and very lovely to watch. You inspire me to take creating art and not to force things. To watch this helped me a lot. It always lifts my mood up.
Also bunnies usually sleep mostly during the day. They will be most active early in the morning or late evening. ;) It is always a treat seeing them graze.
the calves omg :,) you've inspired me to start recording my art process and work toward posting here on youtube!! love all your videos, i appreciate everything you share with us
I for one would love to learn how to do digital forms, lettering etc. mixed with art. I haven't done my simple thank you cards, (emails) unless I will have to use templates, and they are so impersonal. I would love to see you create something! Thanks, a new fan! Happy Holidays! Where ever your feet are during this season May it be blessed with love! Caroline 💙💚💜💕
Hi Mimi! I recently found your channel and it has been really really inspiring to me 🧡. I looove where you live it´s a dream with all the animals and beautiful landscape!... I was wondering where did you buy the keyboard you use, it appears in the minute 8:28, I´ve been looking for something like that more comfortable for the shortcuts, I would appreciate the info. Love your art and love your content 🌻
I found you in the last month and I swear you have literally inspired me to get back into taking art seriously. I recently decided to put 100% into this and taken time off work for a year to focus on getting this put together. Thank you for your videos
I just found your channel 😍, it is very impressive and encouraging how you are building your business! 👏 Also, it is interesting to see an artist not using only Apple devices, i like this! So if you need an idea for a video, you could show, how it is to work with the Surface book. It seems like an all-in-one-device. Or also in general, what devices you use and need for all the tasks in your business. 👋
That's a great idea for a video, I'll add it to the list! The surfacebook is super handy because I can draw on it and also do all of my other business tasks on it too 😊
Ah those calves are so cute! Lucky you with all those animals out your window. ☺️ Thanks for this video it was interesting to see your productive week and especially to see preparations for your Patreon. I'm just starting to prepare for making my own so I'm trying to build a buffer of some digital goodies and think about what I can give to my potential patrons that's within my abilities each month. How did you decide what to offer and did you build it up over time, as in add more goodies as you grew? Would you do anything differently if you started again? I'd love to hear all your advice on Patreon! I've been using it for years but not as a creator. Thanks Mimi 😊
Oh how exciting that you're starting your own! I think building a bit of a buffer is a good idea because once you've started it's harder to get ahead. I chose a mix of benefits that I could make from assets I already had (like making phone wallpapers from illustrations I was going to draw throughout the month anyway), and brand new assets that I would have to make specifically from scratch for Patreon. It's hard to say if I'd do anything different, I would definitely have simplified things but I only learnt what benefits I wanted to maintain by trying different things 😊
@Mimimoo Illustration Thanks, yes I hope to reuse some assets, I just don't have that many yet I feel. Ok, and I look forward to seeing your video on Patreon when it comes out. ☺️
Hi! I'm using Adobe Photoshop which I also use for a lot of my drawing. You could create them in any program that lets you draw and also add text though 😊
As both an artist and an introvert as well, I absolutely love your channel! The ambience, aesthetic, your art, it's all so fun to watch 🥰
Living in a countryside peacefully 🧡 That's one of my life goals ^^ Another calming vlog 😊

I'd definitely be interested in a document explanation video! I don't have access to Adobe products, but I love using Canva.

Ooh thank you for the bunny info, it's definitely late afternoon that I see them most. Must be nice to snooze most of the day!
I love your videos! Your content is always calming and insightful and with everything happening in the world, it's very welcome
This was cool to see some of these behind-the-scenes! I'd absolutely love a video specifically about Patreon, and I'm sure many others would too.

And your environment at home is so relaxing! Love it!
Nice. That looked like a lot of work that you finished!
I don't have Adobe but planning on it. So a tutorial would be awesome. Your cow was adorable
