thanks for showcasing this figure's full articulation. i especially like the part where you demostrated his "organic ... muscular/skeletal system" as you've put it.
I can already see him sitting next to my Apollyon figure. I'm sold!
Glad I could help! That movement is what I really thought was unique about this figure. I would love it if their future releases of the line are like that as well!
I picked this guy up at TFCon Chicago this past weekend. I didn't realize you were credited on it or I would have had you sign it. Haha! Very nice review. Your way of transforming the back legs is very helpful, so I will definitely be using that from now on.
Haha, I don't think I am signature worthy, but CHOGOKING the artist who designs the boxes and does the Ocular Max artwork was present at TFcon. I hope you got a signature from him!

+Jay Black this version is only a Planet steel express exclusive. Other retailers will be getting another version later. I got this directly from MMC since I do their official video manuals.

i like ordering from bbts (and you can see that i order 'quite a few' things from them) because they take care of problems immediately and locally .. but this figure looks incredible. in fact i am going to display all my current mp/kfc cassettes in cassette mode since this new scale seems much nicer. thanks again.
Just wish he had some surface detailing to make him look more like an actual cassette tape, otherwise he's a great figure. Excellent review!
Yeah that's what I said as well. It doesn't need to be a ton but just some more. Reprolabels will put out an awesome set I'm sure.

Kind of wish his forelegs had some swivels in him like the MP figure does. I mean, the masterpiece Ravage can even cross his arms!

I don't think remix jaguar is the correct scale .... I remembered where ravage attacked spike in one episode. and he was pretty much the size of a big cat (lion, jaguar, tiger) and another episode, where soundwave is setting down beside ravage and soundwave is petting him like a big cat. I'm on the fence of picking this guy up. Still a great looking figure needs some reprolables for cassette mode and robot mode. You say there doing Rumble and the rest of cassettes?... I wonder how they're going to fit the MP line.
Scale in the cartoon changes wildly if you look at the scale chart though it's very close to that scale.
+Paik4Life I think the humans are off on the MP scale, Humans were about to the knee on a character like Optimus. I look at the transformers as being two stories tall, thus they could fit inside of the buildings. I'm curious to see Rumble and Frenzy.
Where can I pick this guy up? Couldn't find him on toydojo and I'm curious with price as well.

not MP size, ravage in the cartoon was the normal size of dog. I don't know, suspension of disbelief I guess. It was a cartoon after all

no point in alt mode, it doesnt fit in soundwave and its too big in animal mode, at least for me. aside from the great articulation it doesnt fit in masterpiece or chug collections. that being said i like it. are they going to do the rest of the cassettes?
Scale wise it's pretty dead on to the scale chart (I know I know!), but it's definitely uniquely styled where it doesn't perfectly fit the MP style. I think it looks awesome next to Soundwave. They are doing more. They showed silhouettes for RMX-03 and 05 which are Frenzy/Rumble and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw molds.
+Paik4Life a vidoe only shows so much, i guess in hand would tell a much different story. its still a nice looking figure though. it's on my list for sure.
How is this guy Masterpiece size?
+MarKreations Studios It's roughly right below the knee of MP Soundwave in robot mode, which is what the "holy scale chart" puts Ravage at. The cassette mode is clearly not MP scale : )

+Jay Black I relieve they ship out of Hong Kong or China. I'm not exactly sure. They are reputable and I've bought from them a couple of times but not a lot since I buy mostly from toy dojo. Haha.
Is this line is dedicated for tapes only ?
+FaustvonDrachen I don't know for sure but the only reveals so far are tapes and given that this is a new line REmix which is separate from their Perfection Series line, that's what I assume.
