You can see when she reads about that story a glimmer in her eye, a glimmer of curiosity. Like almost a hunger in her eyes to find out more. You can see the gears of creativity churn in her mind.

Her 8th and 9th great grandparents Jean n Jeanne Choret Morisset and Paul n Mathurice Guillois Morisset (on the show) are mine as well ! Also, thru my 3rd ggm (her mother n law was a Morissette) Genevieve Janis , her father Francis Janis who inherited THE GREEN TREE TAVERN, and his father Nicolas-Francois Janis (who built the GTT) and HIS father and sister were all talked about in great detail on the show WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ?. Funny thing is, I watched FINDING YPUR ROOTS/Alanis Morissette/Ciera episode when it premiered 4 and a half weeks ago in early January 2024 and had no idea. I knew it was very possible, but after confirming sources just an hour ago, I had racked it up as merely a 20% possibility. Lol. Crazy. Btw, LOVE YOUR SHOW, DOC GATES !!! I watch EVERY week. Repeats too sometimes. 😂
