Another great review Mark, it's great that you are evaluating the lesser known brands. The Chinese manufacturers have really upped their game but until they have a proven track record in supplying spare parts and improving their residue value I won't be investing my money in one. The move to all LED lighting is a double edged sword as these units are bespoke to each manufacturer and possibly each model of bike, in the event of a failure it's a trip to the dealer for a complete unit(if they are still available) rather than a trip to Halfords for a replacement lamp. Having had a many years experience in fitting LED lighting in commercial premises i can tell you that LED units do fail and that requires complete replacement of the fitting.
been waiting for someone sensible to review one of these, it is a pretty bike for sure and looks really well built and great value, will add it to my list in case I can't ride my existing bike with my knackered leg
Nice bike, I hope Japan is paying attention... TFT, Blue tooth etc very nice. Curious how the engine tranny and clutch compare to cb500x in terms of power delivery and quality.
Chinese are coming out strongly with theirs bikes. I'm considering buying one of them. Got a dilema with this Voge AC 525 X, the Brixton 500 Crossfire XC, and the CF 700 adv. Could tell me which one would be better. (i know the Cf is more powerful...but.... Tx again^^.
In Spain this bike hs 5 year guarantee. I've tken the voge 900 dsx out for a test ride and was not very impressed, so I am hoping to take this one out to check it out. The engine of the 900 dsx was originally BMW, but I am not sure where this one was previously used in. Nice one Mark I will check this out soon.
Another nice review! I quite like the look of the bike apart from the now common and always awful swingarm bracket for the indicators and number plate. Given the high mounted exhaust, I’m not sure that panniers would be that easy to accommodate.
Man - these reviews are super helpful ! - (subbed) I live in China and there are tons of bike shops nearby. As expected the prices are quite a bit lower - I’m the kid in the candy shop 😂. My first real bike here was and still is a 2019 GW250 - I bought it with 3000km for about 2000$. I love it but I’m looking for a slightly better option to do longer trips. I’m only 5’6” so that’s a bit of a limiting factor. Other than ADV types , what models might you recommend for some day tripping?
Hi nick the Kawasaki is a great bike sounds amazing...retro ish looks ...65 hp ...the voge is more scrambler with 46 hp .... personally I'd go for the voge as I prefer it's style and looks Cheers mark
Hello sir mark nice review. I would like to ask you if you would choose between cb500f and voge ac 525x which you will choose and why. Thank you really appreciated your thoughts.
G'day from Australia, Mark, what can l say good looking motorbike goes well it's in a strong market unknown brand trying to make a mark, well we will just have to see if it takes off, love your review, cheers mate ride safe, Neil 🤠.
Definitely agree with you,its a good looking bike, the only thing i would like to see on it is a cross bar between the handlebars, but that just a personal thing, other than that its looking good👍👍👍
Hi it's about £150 which is added to the cost of the bike ...this covers road tax...first reg fee and a couple of hours of pdi Labour by the mechanics Cheers mark
Another good test Mark, the quality of the Voge bikes looks great, but how long before these Chinese bikes are fully backed up with dealers and spares etc.
I really like this, tank shape, seat looks comfortable for a pillion, I bet it's great on east back lanes, I'd need it lowered though, I love the colour, great alternative to the big names...🎉 Great review Mark as always ❤❤
Currently price on cb500x is £6699 here in the UK so this is cheaper but you could get a perfect used cb500x for the same price 👍 definitely But I guess you get one of these if you want something a bit different from the norm Best wishes mark
Hi mark , that’s the middle weight bike I’ll be buying , the Chinese are going to take over the middle weight market , it’s a good looking bike , for not a lot of money , I want a middle weight bike as its the only thing I don’t have and had thought about the triumph 400 scrambler , but I’d rather have this ,I’ve actually a jialing 125 trail blazer I bought 23 years ago , think Honda xl 125 , I’ve used it on and off over the years , it’s had zero maintenance , I’ve only changed the oil once ,and after a 5 year of not even looking at it , it started 2nd kick , it’s basic but it works , probably one of the first Chinese bike to make it in the uk at the time ! I Paid £1100 at the time and I actually still like riding it , and I’ve friends who would buy it of me tomorrow if I’d ever sell it , the voge 525 acX is for the money the best bike out there , I’m buying one 🏍🏍👍👍
I'm seriously considering a Voge. My nearest dealer I believe is in Maidstone. I've never test ridden a bike, even my last new Honda, dealer said, if you want to try one only choice is to buy it. What ever bike I buy next, it will not be a new Honda.
Looks like a nice bike, but being old school I would prefer the Enfields full-length 'guards instead of the bare rear tyre and broken lines of the bmw type mudguard. Lovely motor by the sound of things. Have you any experience of the customer service/spares/ back up situation at Poole moto Mark? They have some great products . Great video as always!
that would be amazing! also wondering about a comparison between the xsr700 and the ducati scrambler! Would love your thoughts between the two and maybe which on is the better pick!@@markpulling12
The gray vs black arent that much different looking lol. I like the bit of yellow trim on the side of the tank, but I dislike the huge decal. Screen looks amazing too! Can you show us the keys of the bikes? Especially if they are unique....I just like interesting keys, lol..
If it's a 494cc, why do they call it a 525. Good to hear it has good torque. These are not cross-spoke wheels, but maybe they are tubeless? Nice bike, looks good quality, looks pretty good. But it's competeing with the Honda CL500. Better screen and bars on the Voge, though. I'd rather have a CL500. I'd rather have a Benelli Leoncino 500 Trail. The usual excellent review. 1990 [Nick J]

Thanks Dave ... great comment 👍
I saw a comment recently about a Hyundai car that needed a new front combined headlamp/indicator unit, it cost £1000 (a Grand!).
Beautiful bike , great motor, excellent clock display, fantastic value.
That yellow splash on the tank needs sorting.
Cracking bike.😊
Thanks 👍
One of the best reviews on that bike which i own since 3 months. Thank you and go on with the way you do.
Many thanks I appreciate that

Yes Richard I think they would fly off the shelves... best wishes mark

The engine feels very similar to the cb500x it's uncanny best wishes mark
thanks Mark , great rewiew !!!
very informative , love VOGE
Love the scrambler classic look of this bike. It’s the tank! Thanks Mark.
Cheers Brett ...yes looks cool doesn't it :)
Hey Mark.i. could see this one in my.garage.very nice bike love everything about it.

I'm test riding one of these on Monday next week.
I really like this bike Mark. Thank you for this review.

Why i like more the 500ac, and unfortunately in Cyprus no longer available, only acx525. Not sure what to do:
Nice! I meant to ask: does the AC stand for air conditioning? 😂 Nice touch on a bike. I'll watch later and I might find out!
Thanks Daniel... apparently it stands for ADVANCED CLASSIC

Looks a good, well made bike. Hopefully Voge will be available here in Oz soon.
It will be nice to see your review on the new Voge DSX 525x 👍

34th consecutive rainy day up here in Warwickshire. Riding a bike is becoming a distant memory this year....
60mpg, that's terrible on a modern bike, the cb500x does near 80mpg. I've had 70mpg on a Tenere.
