    little extra tip: adjust the Distance variable to something like 20, it will help eliminate the unwanted data. Only works if you have a sharp image tho.

    Hi Thanks for your clear explanation, just is there any way to measure the area under the curve with WebPlotDigirizer ?

    • @TaylorSparks
      @TaylorSparks  4 года назад

      not that I know of. Instead, I would pull all of the points using web plot digitizer and then do numerical integration to figure out the area

    Great , thank you so much for this explanation . i want to know if we could choose number of data points in WebPlotDigitizer

    • @TaylorSparks
      @TaylorSparks  4 года назад +1

      sure. You can select them individually if you want, or you can select the number of pixels between sampling points. Reducing the pixels will give you many more points, increasing the pixels will give you less.

    • @trromany4423
      @trromany4423 4 года назад

      Yes , you're right but i want exact 100 data point in any curve . It give more or less than 100 with reducing or increasing number of pixels . I have to do this on a lot of curves so I'm looking for a way in which i just insert the number of data points . I try other software like get data , Engauge.Digitizer ,..... but i could not find what i want .

    • @TaylorSparks

    Hi Taylor, thanks a lot for this nice video. I have been trying to upload an image of a cost-effectiveness plane graph from an article to extract data using the online version of the WebPlotDigitizer. My X axis data points are from (-0.3) to (0.45) and the Y axis is from -24,000 to 24,000. But when I define these data points and run it, data the software generate are not within these ranges for X and Y. Any idea why?

    Objective: get data points for all the three graphs for the same values of X.

    Is it can plot semi log graphs?

    • @TaylorSparks
      @TaylorSparks  4 года назад +1

      yes. Although, it's meant for pulling data from plots, not creating them. At the end you will have a .csv file with the data and you can create the plot in whatever software you choose (hopefully python!). It can pull from log-log, log-linear, linear-linear and many other options (radial, heatmaps etc)
