I liked your speech. I hope you see this comment. I am an elementary school teacher and I, too like to DO things for my students! I am constantly told "You do too much" YDTM! I don't I feel like I am not doing enough! I enjoy my career choice and should not be ridiculed by my peers for DOING what I like to do! You have given my even more great ideas. ~ thank you.

are the gold medalist selected from each group? or only from the winning group?
There is one gold medalist each week in every class period. So this is my outstanding student of the week, per class and I name the new one every Monday. It starts off the week and is a great reminder for them as we start the week.
Are you still following the RCA housing system or is this a system of your own?
@@mamunmiah653 We do the RCA house system, but this is my classroom version I have been doing since before that so I will assign a country point and then also assign a house point.
@@CookInTheClassroom may I ask what digital tools are you using for point tracker?
@@mamunmiah653 Right now I am using a Google Sheet to do it, but the school has the RCA house app for our school wide program that keeps up with it.
