  • ESGE is delighted to invite you to watch our satellite webinar presented through our close cooperation with Medtronic.
This webinar aims to highlight how to manage the different level of patient sedation and the associated risks, what can be the challenges, complications, or adverse events during procedural sedation, and what are the sedation practice guidelines from different international clinical societies.
The monitoring technologies available are also assessed, highlighting the clinical value of Capnography during and after G.I. procedure. A virtual workshop on an advanced patient simulator illustrates how to identify respiratory complications, how to interpret vital sign monitoring and when the support of an anaesthesiologist is imperative.
Join Prof. Ralph Bisschops, Prof. Marc Van de Velde and Prof. Wolfgang Heinrichs to gain insights into Safe sedation management.

well managed sedation in colonoscopy with a qualified anaesthesiologist is a real godsend. You snooze, they do their thing and you wake up, crisp and alert in no time. I would never allow myself to be deeply sedated without a qualified anaesthesiologist.
