Started watching the guides here when I started really getting into the game and have just recently gotten into the endgame. This guide could not have been more perfectly timed, thanks!
I've been searching for a good tutorial video for the mapping system for a while, but they always seem to gloss over it and say "oh this is for endgame, so don't worry about it...". Glad to see someone actually do a detailed video on it! Thanks!

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but if you shape the wrong map by accident there is a vendor recipe to unshape maps with an unshaping orb that you can get by vendoring 20 chisels and 5 orbs of regret. You can also uncomplete maps that you no longer want to drop for you using cartographer's seals which requires you to vendor 3 sextants and a scour.

For all that is good and holy. Please keep making more of these videos as they would have been a godsend to me if I was just starting out. I have over +1000 hours in this game and STILL learned a few pieces of info from this vid that I was not fully aware of. I honestly hope you keep creating more content for players. There is a lot of information to digest, but you have broken it down clearly into manageable pieces. Keep it up :D!

This is the most helpful vid for a new player. I had no idea I could use transmutes and such on maps. I was literally just running them basic. Also the things people talk about like shaped maps and sextants, I had no idea about at all.

These guides should become official. There is so much good information that game lacks or is easiely skipped (by a casual like me, who don't read dialogs :D).
Though I must say its tough to tell them "hey checkout the guides by engineering eternity". They think it's something else than perfect guides for beginners and veterans alike.

I'm really new to path of exile....I started before the first expansion when the fourth expansion was soon to come out, I left and I returned just as the the atlas of worlds was new. I've beaten the original campaign with a bleed build, but seeing your build I am wonder when I will progress to such a level. You are this giant mass of death, exploding everything around you. It almost looks unreal.
+Grinning Goat Lul. Yeah there has been alot of player power increases and QoL changes. Dont worry, you will soon ascend to a massacring blur of death :D.

My character is linked in the description. I don't have a guide for it yet, but it uses the Ring of Blades threshold jewel along with going crit to scale the damage.
Corrupting a map will never subtract ( reduce its level) not sure why ppl still say it does. Maybe it did initiallt by atleast since The Awakening it can no longer do that.

I think it's important to mention that you can get cartographers chisels for cheap by vendoring them with a 20 quality gavel or rock hammer

chesed55 i dont even know about that -1. I didnt use vaal orb on maps until atlas released
