- Switzerland's most breathtaking village Mürren with epic panorama views with snow ❄ 🇨🇭
Mürren - a former settlement of people from the Lötschen valley in the Valais, which still remains recognisable today from the design of the houses and the pronunciation of the Mürren dialect - is the highest, continually inhabited village settlement in the canton of Bern and lies on a terrace at 1650 metres, high above the Lauterbrunnen valley. A double-cable ropeway leads up onto the plateau from Lauterbrunnen, while a cableway runs from Stechelberg, past turbulent waterfalls and craggy rock faces, into the centre of the car-free village of Mürren, and further to the Schilthorn at 2970 metres.
Winter:
The winter sports region of Mürren-Schilthorn has 53 km of prepared ski and snowboard pistes, toboggan runs and a network of winter walking trails. Beyond the Lauterbrunnen valley, a further 30 or so cableways and lifts, and 160 km of pistes in the other ski areas of the Jungfrau region can also be used. There is an 11 km cross-country ski trail in the valley between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen.
Summer:
Impressive views of the opposing mountain summits can also be enjoyed from Mürren. The holiday resort is the starting point for walks (200 km of walking trails), excursions and experiences. A funicular leads to the Allmendhubel, immediately above the village at an altitude of 1907 metres. Themed walks such as the North Face Trail, providing historical mountaineering information on the north faces, and the Flower Panorama Trail invite visitors to discover the region. Playgrounds and picnic areas are provided for families with children.

Hi Mark, a beautiful walking tour through Murren. When the tour began and you were walking along the balcony, I though with that breathtaking 4K view of the mountains, why would anyone want to sit with their backs to it? I loved the skiers gently gliding down the hills. And like someone said in the last video, the only sound heard was your crunching feet. I don’t know anything about cameras, but whatever you use so the picture is always smooth, never jerky, makes it possible for me to watch and enjoy you vlogs. I couldn’t otherwise. Mark, have you decided not to use a polarizing filter on sunny winter days?
Thanks 👍 i only use a ND8 in video ! I have a CPL never used . . CPL has got only dark parts on the filter I don't like . . Always turning the dial you will make mistakes. . i can not have clips ruined by dialed wrong CPL mark, aometimes i need a ND16 ;) i close the aperture or raise the shutter ;)
OK, I'm going to buy the best polarizing filter B+W, suitable for shooting with lenses from 18mm and more. But I'm also not sure that I'll have a good result when panning.
Just buy magnetic freewell Nd8😉 my colors look great on my video right ? Always set White balance with grey card + Nd8 before you start recording 👍always buy the 82mm so you can use it on all your lenses
Yes, I'm going to buy an N8 on a magnet, but with new camera can do without it. I shoot 60 fps during the sunny day, so can change the light by reducing the shutter speed from 1/120 to 1/600. At 60 fps, the decrease in shutter speed becomes less noticeable.
I don't always set the white balance, but I'm going to do it with color checker in next season.

I think its better to use a ND filter👍 ( more contrast in your video ) in my early videos i didn't use a ND filter because i did not trust them because of the color shift! With Freewell magnetic ND8 you will have no color shift , with greycard of white paper your colors will be more accurate in post 👍

Nice crunchy snow, beautiful Murren, glorious mountains all around, skiers, a funicular, I mean everything is there for a lavish winter fun. I just have to be there in person, but I don't ski or do any winter sports, the pandemic is raging, so it has to be a virtual journey. Thank you Mark, it was lovely.
