Everyone should know how to tie a Bowline knot. One of the most useful knots around. A favorite of climbers.

Good information. I've only had one instance where I struggled to get a bank-robbers knot loose. My buddy tied his horse in the trailer with it, and the horse blew up in the trailer. She was pulling back as hard as she could, lunging backwards, shaking her head, etc. That knot was T I G H T. It was a nylon lead and it kind of melted together. I was able to get it loose finally, but it took a good 10 minutes of working on it to get it loose. Luckily the horse had calmed down, because all 3 knots were pulled that tight (the bank-robber from the lead to the trailer, the sheepbend from the lead to the halter, and the sheepbend on the halter to itself).

Good video and good explanation. It would be helpful if you zoomed in closer to the knot though 😊
