The only thing better than their music is their interviews.They should be in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Arsenio was not hip to the Tap at all. He was like come on you fake dudes break character or don't pretend you're something you're not. That is the feeling I got. Did he not know This Is Spinal Tap?
I think the problem may have actually been that Arsenio's wit was dwarfed by the collective Stonehenge-like wit of the Tap, and he couldn't keep up.
It was years after spinal tap that i found out they were American actors, never heard Americans nail an English accent like that before.
Our band loves SPINAL TAP! They're the silliest of all!
I was 13 years old when I saw this interview, before I knew anything about Spinal Tap. I was just flabbergasted at how closely the guy on the left resembled the dad from the movie D.A.R.Y.L.😀

Well, that leaves another four years to go.
Their was another short film and album in 2007 and a series of shows including the Live Earth appearance. Then again in 2009-2011 they did more shows.
