2 thoughts:
1. I’m super down with the cheating haha. No reason to waste your time getting the perfect seed, it’s more fun to watch silly stuff.
2. I think max heat + whatever you want would still be kinda fun actually, all routine inspections would still make it super hard imo (mainly because 50 health + 0 DDs).
I prefer this method of cheating over the shenanigans and occult methods that RNG manipulators do due to the fact that I enjoy the randomness of the game most of the time.
That's because this run wants to see the highest possible damage for doom.
I'd think the easiest way to do the "pick your favorite boon" run would just be to mod in a boon whenever you get a boon, rather than purging boons from the run entirely. Then you've gotta sell an extra 1-3 boons on each floor to balance it out.
Dude Imma tell you, this ain't stacking doom, wait till you see my math and programming tests this wednesday, that's doom in a stack alright!

Had a weird run today with Talos and Poseidon special. I kept yoyoing the enemies. Amusing but took much longer.
I think a load out system could be interesting. Testing fully formed builds against the highest heat possible, or maybe limits on how much boons you can have at the start or something
in terms of not getting any more boons mid run, fated authority would probably be the trick seeing as you wouldn't be rolling for choice
My two cents on the max heat cheated run: act like you control the RNG.
You still have to follow all the rules of when rooms and rewards get offered, you just choose what the particular offerings are for all of them.
Edit: from what you said later in the video, it sounds like you don't have the power to remove boons. Darn.

Recipe pages have “stories” added for 2 main reasons, search engines down rank pages which are too short and the second is more text means they can have more ads on the page

Fists of zag with attack on ares and special and dash on Athena with dire misfortune and the duo makes for crazy build
Just an FYI, you need Athena either on attack or special in order to get Merciful End- so having area on both is bad.
Personally, I like starting with ares keepsake for attack and look for Athena on special ASAP. Then, hopefully merciful or the dash come shortly after.
It’s surprisingly consistent how often merciful shows up once you have ares attack and Athena special. As long as you don’t pick blade rifts with Ares, they don’t have a lot of boons messing the pool up
Day 2: Can you try a run where you can pick whatever you want in the first room using the ‘pick any boon” mod and then beat it on the highest possible heat?

Even if you spend the same amount of time making the meal service’s recipe as you would with a normal home cooked meal, you do save deciding what to make, and then more time shopping for ingredients, especially trying to find specialty ingredients that you’d never use otherwise, like a special indian spice that you’ll only use a few times a year. The argument on the sustainability pitch is that they optimize portion sizes, and that food waste is more environmentally taxing than material waste. The extra agricultural processes involved with growing, cultivating, processing, packaging and shipping in combination of uneaten food amount to more waste/emissions than the single 2oz plastic bottle or whatever.

Pick One Per Biome
One per Boss/Miniboss
One Per Shop
One per "Special" Room Fountains, Bouldy, ect.

For the Max Heat run I would make it so when you get a boon you can choose what boon it is at Heroic. However you can't choose what gods you have. You just get to cheat the "perfect" boon in

It probably does, but I think he just wanted to try it with Rama this time. Without checking, I'd be willing to bet Haelian has done a Lucifer doom stacking build on this channel before (I've watched so many of his videos that they all kind of blend together lmao)
