a minor correction on your explanation of photon strike bounzer, it only affects monsters that are on the field, so it can do things like negate the normal summon of mathematician's effect, but not the graveyard ability to draw 1 card. enjoyable duel, i was screaming when the junk player summoned level eater and left it on the field against a heiratic player
The summon of quickdraw does not start a chain. It will hit the board without the opponent being able to respond to it. You have to activate maxx c preemptively in this case. Youll know if a monster starts a chain in hand if there is an activation requirement or a cost in the text followed by a colon or semicolon. Dragon Ruler start a chain for example.
Star Eater can be Judgmented, Warninged and Oppressioned because they fully negate the summon. Star Eater turns off things like Bottomless, Torrential, and the like.
