So very enjoyable! Ramsbottom is where I lived as a child. For a brief period as a schoolboy I actually took the steam train daily from Ramsbottom to Bury. The scenery is so lovely. As for the trains: it may be a cliché to say this but they are like living creatures, beautiful machines to behold.
