I think at this point, Jason richardson just need to perform more to overcome the fear of performing infront of the crowd. Hiromi is playing same or higher level pieces just like jason, but much more perfectly executed.

That piano clip is amazing, but comparing piano to guitar is not that fair. i see perfect piano performances all the time, but guitar performances are very rarely perfect. Especially if you have to play standing up(imagine if pianists had to play standing up live), and to a certain tempo(backing track) and to put on a show at the same time. Pianists can usually just focus on performance
